Sir Elton John ‘is set to perform at Steve Jobs’ daughter Eve’s lavish wedding for an eye-watering fee’

It’s said that Sir Elton John has been invited to play at Eve Jobs’ forthcoming wedding, with a whopping £1 million payment on the table.

The widow of the late Apple CEO, Laurence Powell Jobs (age 61), reportedly spent £5 million to ensure the four-day wedding of their youngest child, model Eve (age 27), and her British showjumping champion fiancé Harry Charles (age 26), would be a one-of-a-kind event.

The wedding – which is taking place in the leafy Cotswolds – begins on Wednesday.

It’s been reported that Laurence, who was married to Steve from 1991 until his death from pancreatic cancer at age 56 in 2011, has allegedly paid a substantial amount to hire the legendary musician, now 78 years old, for a one-hour performance.

According to a source, Elton John has been scheduled to perform for an hour. During this time, he plans to play a mix of his own tracks, including some tunes that both Eve and Harry particularly enjoy.

A performance by Elton John doesn’t come at a low price. It seems that they spent more than one million pounds just to get him to play. It promises to be an extraordinarily memorable event.

The pair, who started dating in 2022 and made their engagement public in September 2024, are said to be inviting a large number of guests for their ‘high-class British elegance blended with contemporary American style’ wedding.

On that specific event, it appears that both Eve and Harry collaborated with renowned events planner Stanlee Gatti (age 69) for its organization.

It’s reported that Kamala Harris, the former First Lady and close friend of Laurence, who is 60 years old, is expected to attend. Also attending will be Jessica Springsteen, a renowned American equestrian and Bruce Springsteen’s daughter, as well as Sir Jony Ive, the ex-Apple designer who is 58 years old.

Other guests who have been reported to have been invited are Matt Helders from the Arctic Monkeys.

It is anticipated that Eve’s brothers, Reed Jobs (aged 33), Erin Jobs (29), and half-sister Lisa Brennan-Jobs (47), who Steve had with his first wife Chrisann Brennan (70), will be present at their wedding.

Together with Harry’s father, the gold medal-winning jumper from the London 2012 team, Peter Charles (age 65), as well as his immediate and extended family members.

An unnamed source mentioned: ‘This location, tucked away near the Cotswolds, is remarkably tranquil. Both locals and regular visitors are accustomed to tourists and celebrities, but this upcoming event seems to be something extraordinary. The wedding preparations are being executed with military precision.’

Starting from Wednesday, a neighboring town is set for a lockdown. This is when it’s said that visitors will arrive at Oxford airport via their private planes, while helicopters stand by on the ground to transport them to the hidden mansion where Eve and Harry are scheduled to exchange their vows.

It comes after Eve celebrated her hen party in style on the Italian island of Capri.

On a radiant weekend filled with sunshine, she donned a shimmering white mini dress and veil, joining her friends for an array of experiences. These included voyages on yachts, lively nighttime gatherings, and leisurely relaxation by the pool at a secluded villa perched above the ocean.

A photograph on her Instagram shows Eve happily seated in a pink-cushioned cart, enjoying herself before the wedding festivities.

‘What a weekend with my favorite girls,’ she captioned the post.

Among those who appreciated the photos were Phoebe Gates, the daughter of Bill Gates, as well as Olympic skier Eileen Gu.

The attendees were an assortment of friends hailing from the realms of fashion and horse riding, several of whom showed up dressed alike, whether for their daytime escapades or night-time festivities.
