David Beckham’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star unveiling is expected to be a major career highlight, but there’s increasing concern that his strained relationship with his son, Brooklyn, might cast a shadow over the event.

The famous football player, age 50, will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025. This honor comes after his documentary became a hit on Netflix.

The inscription on his memorial will officially recognize his knighthood, displaying ‘Sir’ before his name, a title bestowed upon him by King Charles last year.

Although the award is a wonderful achievement, the celebration might be tinged with sadness. There’s concern that Brooklyn, 26, who lives nearby in Los Angeles, might not be able to make it, adding to the uncertainty.

We expect to announce the ceremony date in the next few months. Once nominees are selected, they’ll have up to two years to plan and hold their official unveiling.

The timing seems suspicious, especially considering the growing tension between Brooklyn and his family.

The chef, who used to be a photographer, didn’t attend Sir David’s knighthood ceremony. It was recently revealed he’d also blocked David, Victoria, and their sons Romeo and Cruz on social media.

According to a source, Brooklyn not attending David’s birthday celebration will be a very public embarrassment, especially since he lives in the same city, Hollywood.

David is optimistic that his family will repair their relationship soon, particularly now that he’s reached out to Brooklyn in a gesture of peace. The falling out has caused everyone a lot of pain.

The Daily Mail has contacted David and Brooklyn’s representatives for comment. 

As a lifestyle observer, I noticed something interesting on New Year’s Eve. David seemed really hopeful about mending things with his family – he actually posted a sweet photo on Instagram of all four of his kids, which felt like a genuine attempt to show everyone he was prioritizing them.

A picture showed him happily posing with Brooklyn, with the message ‘I love you all so much.’ Brooklyn didn’t say anything publicly about it.

I was really surprised to see that David and Nicola spent New Year’s Eve partying in South Florida! Apparently, they were at this super fancy club while 50 Cent was performing. It was a bit different from the rest of the family, who all stayed in the UK for the holidays.

Honestly, it’s just… baffling. Brooklyn completely missed his childhood friend Holly’s wedding! Can you believe it? And then, instead of being with his family for Christmas, he was off in Miami with Nicola’s ridiculously wealthy parents. It’s like he’s completely chosen Team Peltz and forgotten everyone else. Even though things are strained, people close to Brooklyn say there’s still hope for a resolution, as he and his grandparents on both sides are still talking to each other.

David will be honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025, joining a celebrated group of recipients that includes Jessica Chastain, Green Day, Busta Rhymes, Colin Farrell, and Lauren Graham.

Each year, around 20 stars are recognized in six different fields – including movies, TV, music, and sports – receiving special honors.

People receiving the star are asked to pay $75,000 for its installation and ongoing upkeep, although the organizers usually don’t reveal who actually pays this fee.
