Sir David Beckham hails Victoria ‘My Lady’ as he shares insight into his ‘special night’ celebrating knighthood at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant

Sir David Beckham called his wife Victoria ‘My Lady’ after receiving his knighthood.

The 50-year-old footballer celebrated receiving the honor at Windsor Castle on Tuesday with a private dinner with his family at chef Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in Chelsea.

Okay, so it’s been a full 24 hours since the party and I’m still buzzing! David finally gave us a little peek on Instagram, and honestly, it was everything! He gave a shout-out to the chef – who is amazing, by the way, 58 years young and a total pro – for making the whole night absolutely perfect for this huge milestone. I’m obsessed with how much thought he puts into everything!

The pictures showed David beaming with his new medal, happily posing with Victoria, age 51, and enjoying champagne with Gordon.

Posh had changed from her elegant navy dress, which she wore earlier in the day, into a sleek, floor-length black gown.

Oh my gosh, David absolutely killed it! First, he wore this incredible suit – seriously, his wife is a genius designer and made it just for the royal event! – and then he changed into the most perfect classic velvet tux. He just always looks so effortlessly amazing, doesn’t he? I was completely captivated!

The famous athlete also posted a picture from the kitchen, expressing gratitude to the staff for a wonderful evening.

He expressed his gratitude to the amazing team that helped make the night unforgettable, and also thanked Gordon and Tana for their support in making it happen.

Victoria also shared photos on Instagram, including one of her and the team with David.

She shared that Sir David unexpectedly visited her team today to express his gratitude for their work on the suit he wore to the investiture ceremony.

A family friend, Gordon, happily hosted a dinner party as a gift for his close friend, according to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail.

A source revealed that David’s close friend, Gordon, decided to celebrate with a fantastic dinner.

‘David was there, their kids, his sisters, parents and Victoria’s mum and dad.’

David and Victoria were joined by three of their four children—Romeo, Cruz, and Harper—along with other family members.

David Beckham’s oldest son, Brooklyn, 26, and his wife, Nicola, 30, didn’t participate in the celebrations and haven’t publicly congratulated him on social media.

Their silence is just the latest slight after months of family feuding.

When his father received news of his knighthood in the spring, Brooklyn didn’t offer any congratulations, either in person or online. His two other sons, however, excitedly shared the news on social media.

Brooklyn and his family reportedly grew distant after he missed his father’s 50th birthday celebration in May.

Sir David received a knighthood on Tuesday for his contributions to sports and charitable work. He’s especially known for his twenty years of influence in football and his later work as an ambassador for UNICEF.

The King awarded the former footballer a knighthood at Windsor Castle in recognition of his contributions to both sports and charitable work. His sons were quick to congratulate him afterwards.

Romeo posted a family picture while David marked the occasion with a lunch at Cliveden House, attended by his wife Victoria and their three youngest children, before an evening celebration.

Oh my gosh, the new photo is EVERYTHING! It’s David, holding Victoria’s hand, and little Harper’s too! And the boys… seriously, those matching suits? They all look so incredibly happy and put-together. I can’t stop looking at it, it’s just perfect!

Romeo shared a photo with the caption, ‘You truly deserve all the good things coming your way, I love you so much! Congratulations, Dad!’

Victoria also posted a tribute to her husband, describing him as kind, humble, and hardworking. She wrote that David has always taken great pride in representing his country, ever since she first met him 28 years ago.

I truly appreciate this honor from The King, especially knowing how much you, like me, love England and admire the Royal Family. It’s a moment I’ll always treasure.

It’s incredible all you’ve accomplished, but what impresses me most is that you’re still the same wonderful, down-to-earth, and dedicated person I fell in love with almost 30 years ago. You’re an amazing husband and father, and I couldn’t be prouder of you today. We all love you so much!
