Sinners ending spoilers follow.
Ryan Coogler’s impressive film “Sinners” may not be based on a comic book, but make sure you stay till the end of the credits.
The story revolves around twin siblings Smoke and Stack (played by Michael B Jordan), who decide to establish a dance hall in their old hometown. But, on the very first night, things take an unexpected turn as the brothers uncover a far more sinister force lurking nearby.
It may appear that the movie ends before the closing credits start, but be sure to stay until the very end as there are two additional scenes hidden within.
Should you have overlooked them or are simply curious about their outcome, rest assured, we’ve got you covered. Significant revelations lie ahead past this image.

Sinners credit scene explained
Toward the closing scenes, brief clips show a live band performance at an unspecified club. These snippets are set in 1992, offering glimpses of a more mature Sammie performing on stage.
In a continuation of events, we find ourselves joining Sammie (now portrayed by blues legend Buddy Guy) at a bar following the performance. Not long after, he crosses paths with some familiar faces as Stack and Mary enter the club, known as Pearline’s, named in honor of the singer who met an unfortunate end during the gruesome finale.
It seems that Smoke allowed his sibling, Stack, to survive under the condition that he wouldn’t pursue Sammie. Meanwhile, Mary managed to flee before the chaos ended and all the other vampires were destroyed by daylight.
Stack proposes to Sammie if he’d like him to rotate him so that Sammie can continue playing at Pearline’s, as “it won’t be much longer for you.” However, Sammie refuses and indicates he’s had enough playtime, then proceeds to offer a personal performance of the same song he played for Stack earlier in the film to Stack and Mary.
After that, the longtime companions bid each other farewell, as Stack and Mary departed from Pearline’s house, keeping their pledge to let Sammie be unharmed.

In the film, the ending scene following the credits may not be crucial for understanding the characters’ conclusions or the last significant moment of the plot, but if you’re a fan of Miles Caton, you might choose to stick around regardless.
The scene shifts to a younger Sammie at his father’s church, where he is singing ‘This Little Light of Mine’. Exact timing isn’t specified, but we can tell it occurred before the bloodshed and vampire chaos because Sammie departed from town at the movie’s end in pursuit of his musical aspirations.
If you choose to depart following the initial post-credit sequence, it doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on any essential elements. The sequence serves as a pleasant conclusion to the film, providing additional proof of Caton’s remarkable skill.
Sinners is out now in cinemas.
