The famous performer debuted a dramatically new look, sporting a much shorter, bleached blonde hairstyle with tight curls.

The new style made her unrecognizable even though she has been in the business for 20 years. 

The popular singer debuted a new hairstyle in the November issue of Vogue France, captured by renowned photographer Mario Sorrenti.

She updated her makeup look, too, opting for dramatic dark eyeliner and shiny lips to complete her transformation into a classic 1960s Hollywood starlet.

Hint: she has a famous father and was married to an Australian movie star. 

The lovely lady with the wild locks is Miley Cyrus.

But the hair was just a Parisian trick: she was wearing a wig styled by Shay Ashual. 

Fans were shocked by her outfit, comparing it to a mix of ‘Annie’ and ‘Moulin Rouge,’ while others said it didn’t seem like the Miley they were used to.

The musician behind ‘Flowers’ wore designer clothes from Balenciaga and Maison Valentino for a stylish photoshoot at the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood.

Cyrus also named the person who has inspired her music: it’s her mother Tish Cyrus.

The Grammy-winning artist shared that they always write with a specific person in mind, and that person is the first to hear any new songs. They described each other as mutual inspirations.

The artist also mentioned stars that she thinks of as true rock gods.

The makeup artist shared that Stevie Nicks’ stage persona isn’t an act, explaining, ‘She really is that theatrical, with the scarves and capes, even in her everyday life – I’ve seen it firsthand.’

‘When you see Joan Jett on stage, you know she’s wearing the same black leather pants backstage.’

She then talked about David Bowie, pointing out how effortlessly he pulled off platform shoes and amazing jumpsuits. She also noted that while rock and roll feels genuine, it’s still a performance meant to entertain.

There was also talk of Beyonce whom she did a duet with on stage at the Stade de France on June 19.

“Beyoncé is simply the best,” the star shared. “She gave me a bracelet I wear all the time.”

I’m definitely capable of using it when necessary. If anyone criticizes me or points out a mistake, I just brush it off and say, “It doesn’t matter, Beyoncé gave me this bracelet, see?”

Beyonce has in the past sent Cyrus flowers; it was after they worked together on II Most Wanted.’
