The film Sing Sing introduces us to John Divine Whitefield (played by Domingo), a prisoner who maintains his innocence and finds meaning through participating in a theatre group with other inmates serving life sentences.
I’m really captivated by this group of guys coming together. It’s amazing to see them push past whatever issues they have and create something special, knowing they don’t have much time. But honestly, it’s also a bit heartbreaking because they’re running into challenges nobody saw coming.

The movie doesn’t put enough focus on the crimes they may or may not have committed.
