Simu Liu puts one of Shang-Chi’s 10 rings on girlfriend Allison Hsu: They’re engaged!
On Sunday, actor Simu Liu and his partner Allison Hsu, an employee at Interscope Records, shared their engagement news on social media, seemingly from Paris, where it looks like they got engaged.
On weekends in Paris, excursions to Palm Springs, late nights at work, lazy afternoons lounging on sofas, and all moments in between, I’ll be with you, now and forever,” the actor from “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” wrote, accompanying a photo of himself kissing Hsu against a backdrop of flowers.

Following a video of ‘Barbie’ co-stars Simu Liu and Ryan Gosling experiencing an awkward encounter at the movie’s premiere becoming widely shared online, Liu assured everyone that their energy was in sync.
Hsu, a digital marketing manager at Interscope Records, penned ‘Forever with us’ in another batch of engagement photos from Paris. She adorned the caption with images of diamond rings and white hearts.
It seems those flowers were adornments for a romantic dinner on the rooftop, celebrating the couple. Hsu’s Instagram story revealed additional photos of the breathtaking view from that rooftop, along with some friends who attended the party with the couple. Furthermore, there was a short video showing them sharing a kiss while the Eiffel Tower’s light show illuminated the night sky behind them.
Liu and Hsu started dating towards the end of 2022, following the conclusion of a brief romance between the Marvel actor and “Grown-ish” star Jade Bender. (And after an incident where he was spotted admiring Eiza González at the 2021 Met Gala.)
Over the weekend, it was evident that they frequently appeared as a couple on red carpets and vacations, according to Cosmopolitan. In their first year together, Liu expressed on social media on Hsu’s birthday, “she demonstrates to me that those we cherish are always worth standing up for.
