Simone Ashley praises “beautiful” new Christmas movie

As a fan of heartwarming, family-friendly Christmas movies, I am beyond excited for Simone Ashley’s latest project, “The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland.” Having grown up watching Alice in Wonderland and being a huge admirer of Lewis Carroll’s whimsical world, I can hardly contain my anticipation.

While anticipating the arrival of Bridgerton’s fourth season, Simone Ashley is set to embark on a magical journey in her upcoming Christmas film, which takes place in the enchanting world of Wonderland.

According to the book “The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland” written by Carys Bexington and Kate Hindley, Santa Claus (portrayed by Gerard Butler) travels to Wonderland with a mission to enlighten the Queen of Hearts (voiced by Emilia Clarke) about the essence of Christmas.

Ashley lends her voice to the renowned character Alice in the upcoming animated family musical that debuts this coming Friday (13th of December) on Sky Cinema.

Talking to Digital Spy ahead of the release, the star praised the message of the movie.

She said, “I find it incredibly charming and beautifully simple, which truly captures the essence of Christmas.

The message within it is incredibly uplifting and meaningful, capturing the essence of what Christmas symbolizes for me. I wholeheartedly embrace this festive season.

The holiday season may be challenging for certain individuals, as it has been for me in the past. To my understanding, this film emphasizes the importance of compassion and keeping the right priorities, which seems particularly relevant during such times.

In addition, the film offers Ashley an opportunity to display her vocal talents, while Alice’s major performance underscores the holiday theme that the movie aims to convey to its audience.

She’s been singing ever since she was young. With a focus on classical singing and musical theater, it’s clear that this is something she’s passionate about and can’t wait to share with others.

The words in that song truly resonated with me. I believe it’s crucial for children to grasp that choosing kindness is not only a wonderful decision but also a liberating and empowering one. I firmly believe that showing kindness can reveal the beauty within others.

Additionally, I find the lyric, “Recall the joy of a childhood smile,” quite appealing.

The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland is released on Sky Cinema on December 13.
