Simon Cowell’s Fiancée Unveils His Unexpected Love for Country Life and Neighbors
Lauren Silverman, Simon Cowell’s fiancé, shared that the music executive enjoys rural hobbies, as they’ve opted to reside in a countryside setting instead of London.
47-year-old socialite, mother of 11-year-old Eric with the Britain’s Got Talent producer (65 years old), mentioned that her partner enjoys clay target shooting, taking walks with dogs, and practicing yoga since their relocation to a luxurious £8M countryside mansion in Cotswolds in 2021.
Lauren, who’s been with the TV celebrity since 2021, shared with Closer: “We make sure to unplug completely. We enjoy watching films, practicing yoga, and clay pigeon shooting. We take our dogs for walks together. We also cook meals.
Although David and Victoria Beckham own a large property in the Cotswolds too, it appears that the well-known families seldom meet or interact with each other frequently.
Laura explained: They’re busy people. We kind of keep ourselves to ourselves’.

When they went to the Chelsea Flower Show together with Bruno Tonioli, a frequent guest at their home and affectionately called “Uncle Bruno” by their son Eric, she mentioned this fact.
According to the dancer, they shared with the media: ‘We have a small circle that meets up occasionally. Maintaining privacy about personal matters is important to me, and I enjoy keeping things discreet.’
After a series of burglaries at their old £45 million residence in Holland Park, west London, which was recently sold, Simon and his family relocated to the countryside.
In January, it was exclusively reported that TopMob was planning to expand his residence by constructing a large “entertainment barn” for his A-list friends and relatives.
Although Cowell’s building experts refer to it as a “minor expansion,” the space spans approximately 793 square feet, which is about the size of a typical newly constructed home in the UK.
The impressive, recently acquired eight-acre rural property stands majestically atop a hill, offering panoramic views of a quaint, celebrity-favored village that is also frequented by the royal family.
As a fervent admirer, I can’t help but express my excitement over the latest developments! While the current grounds boast a thrilling wild swimming pond and an inviting indoor pool, the new blueprints hint at something even more enticing – a grand, expansive social hub specifically designed for us enthusiasts to gather and create unforgettable moments together.
Additionally, it could serve as a recreational space for the couple’s sons, Eric and 18-year-old Adam (Lauren’s son from a past relationship). This area would also be suitable for hosting gatherings with their friends.

Although Simon had invested a significant amount, approximately £500,000, into securing his London home, he still experienced multiple break-ins during his residence in Holland Park.
In 2023, it was alleged that a criminal gang had even sold the exact lock to his front door.
In the wee hours of 2015, burglars gained access to a residence and made off with jewelry valued at approximately £1 million and two passports from an unlocked safe.
Simon and Lauren were asleep in their beds as was their son Eric, who was a baby at the time.
X Factor star later said of the incident: ‘One hundred per cent I’d like to meet the guy.
If we locate him, I’d like to chat with him. At the moment, I’m feeling quite upset so I don’t feel like sharing much.
As a father, it’s crucial to understand that having a stranger so close to your young son – just three feet away at home – can potentially cause significant emotional harm.
He additionally expressed his dismay because his three dogs failed to create an alarm during the invasion, noting: ‘They remained silent. Normally, they are quite vocal, but for some reason, they decided not to bark then. Now, I own dogs that are known for their barking.’
In 2012, Simon had a frightening incident occur at his Holland Park house, where a woman armed with a brick forcibly entered the premises while he was relaxing and watching TV at home.
TopMob contacted Simon Cowell’s representatives. There was no comment.
