On Wednesday, Simon Cowell displayed his playful sense of humor by driving a rather mischievous van to the Britain’s Got Talent auditions in Blackpool, which included a toilet-themed decoration.

65-year-old industry leader posted a collection of backstage photos featuring himself alongside Amanda Holden (age 53), Alesha Dixon (age 46), and Bruno Tonioli (age 69) during the recent audition sessions.

Or, more conversational:

The music bigwig, who’s 65, recently unveiled a series of candid shots taken backstage at the latest round of auditions. In these pictures, he can be seen hanging out with Amanda Holden (age 53), Alesha Dixon (age 46), and Bruno Tonioli (age 69).

Both versions convey the same information but aim to create a more natural, easy-to-read flow.

At the auditions, Simon made an entrance driving a riotously funny golden-yellow car with metallic wrapping, chauffeuring himself and Amanda to the theater.

To be completely honest, I couldn’t help but notice the vibrant and mischievous cartoon design adorning the door of my beloved car, which seemed to depict someone in a rather unusual position on a throne – quite humorous, wouldn’t you agree?

Amanda could be spotted chatting into a bright yellow microphone while the pair navigated Blackpool, engaging with residents and participants prior to their performances.

Once inside the theatre, Simon snapped a selfie with the cheerful audience who waved at the camera.

Behind the scenes, the judges were beaming broadly upon rejoining ITV show hosts Ant and Dec.

Simon couldn’t help but express his deep affection for Blackpool, declaring it as his “most beloved spot on earth,” after a hectic day of auditions.

Yesterday marked my return to Blackpool for the Britain’s Got Talent auditions. Now, this location has become one of my most cherished spots on earth. The locals here are simply extraordinary, and the crowds are incredibly boisterous!

I wanted to let you know about my yesterday and the surprising gift I received from @antanddec this morning. Mark my words, I’ll return the favor soon! Warm regards, Simon x

After Simon proposed that he’s continued to experience a lingering health problem, which he initially shared with us last year.

Last year, the television personality publicly discussed his struggle with intense migraines that even caused him to skip some filming auditions, alarming his fans.

Simon dons a pair of red-tinted spectacles as a precaution for his eyes, since he spends prolonged hours working in the studio under intense lighting conditions.

On Tuesday, a fresh photo posted by Simon displayed the judges gathering again during the Britain’s Got Talent auditions, with production of the upcoming season now underway.

In that photo, Simon was donning a pair of colorful prescription glasses, hinting that his migraines may persist even a year later.

Last February, Simon shared on Instagram that he requires the support of his fans for health-related matters.

He concluded by mentioning, “In a week, we’ll be shooting Britain’s Got Talent in Manchester – can’t wait to meet you there! By the way, that’s why I always wear sunglasses!

He posted a photo of himself wearing glasses while on the judging panel with the caption: ‘Apparently, I’ve got an undisclosed ailment, as per the information I gathered online.’

Two weeks back, I unfortunately couldn’t attend two auditions on the same day due to suffering from migraines following prolonged exposure to filming lights, a concern some might share.

In this upcoming season, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will rejoin the panel of judges, with popular YouTube personality KSI set to make a special appearance on the program as well.

I had eagerly anticipated the continuation of the series, but its start was delayed in October due to the unfortunate passing of Liam Payne, a star who shot to fame on the X Factor in 2010, under the guidance of Simon Cowell.

After the unfortunate death of Liam Payne in October, a representative from Britain’s Got Talent’s producer, Freemantle UK, announced that they would be pushing back the audition dates due to this sad event. Our sympathy goes out to Liam’s friends, family, and everyone who cherished him.

Overwhelmed by a sudden, heart-stopping revelation, I found myself compelled to halt the auditions in Blackpool at the very last moment – my fandom’s passion for this event was unparalleled!

After Liam’s sad demise, a deeply moved Simon offered a touching homage to the amiable, humorous, and gifted member of One Direction, who always cherished their fans.

On Instagram, he posted: ‘It’s only in times like these that you truly understand your feelings for someone.’

Dear Liam, I’m deeply shattered, heart-stricken, and feeling hollow. I want you to understand the profound love and reverence I hold for you. Each tear I’ve cried is a testament to my memories of you.

At the moment, I find it challenging to express my feelings accurately. Today, I stepped outdoors and found myself reminiscing about our numerous shared moments.

I just wanted to share with you what I’d often tell people who’d always ask about Liam. He was incredibly kind, had a great sense of humor, was sweet as pie, thoughtful beyond belief, insanely talented, and humble to the bone. Not only that, but he adored music and it showed in every way. Above all, he genuinely cared for his fans.

Back when you were fourteen, I shared with you that it wasn’t your moment yet. We pledged to reunite in the future. Many might have surrendered, but not you. You persevered and within a short span, the entire world became acquainted with Liam.

Furthermore, it was clear that you never overlooked your fans. Your generosity in spending a considerable amount of time with those eager to meet you demonstrated your genuine concern for them.

Last year, you dropped by my place, not for an appointment, but simply to chat over some memories. We looked back on the joyous moments we shared, rekindling those precious memories.

You wore your fatherhood with such pride. It brought back memories after you were gone, reminding me of the sweet and kind young man I first encountered long ago.

He went on saying: “I’ve had the pleasure of meeting your boy, Bear. He bears a striking resemblance to you, with your same warm smile and sparkling eyes. I am certain that he will take great pride in all you have accomplished, as well as the manner in which you achieved it.

I’ve often considered the five of you in the band as more like brothers. Reading your messages today, it seems that bond was truly genuine.

‘And now Liam, I can see the effect you had on so many people. Because you left us too soon.

‘Rest in peace my friend. And I am sending my love, thoughts and prayers to your family. Simon X’

The auditions resumed after Britain’s Got Talent made a huge change to the audition process.

As a devoted follower, I’m sharing that our team has decided to relocate the auditions from the London Palladium to Blackpool instead.

As reported by The Sun, the decision to relocate was made due to the energetic and supportive vibe that the seaside town provided for the performance.

According to the source, Britain’s Got Talent is a program that heavily relies on audience interaction, and the crowd in Blackpool is simply outstanding.

The Palladium stands out as a legendary venue, yet when looking at the performances, the audiences in Blackpool seem noticeably more enthusiastic compared to those recorded in London.

Simon Cowell, our leader, has approved the plan and is eager for the program to reach its full potential.

From my perspective as a lifestyle advisor, I can tell you that Amanda might express some reservations about the shift, given her current work schedule. Five days a week, she’s based in bustling London, and any change could potentially involve commuting.
