Simon Cowell puts on a loved-up display with fiancée Lauren Silverman as they attend special screening of his new Netflix show The Next Act

Simon Cowell and his fiancée, Lauren Silverman, looked very affectionate at a London screening of his new Netflix documentary series, ‘The Next Act,’ on Tuesday.

The 66-year-old music executive appeared very affectionate with Lauren, putting his arm around her as they posed for photos on the red carpet at the upscale Ham Yard Hotel.

At the event, Simon looked sharp in a grey blazer, a black sweater, and well-fitting trousers.

He completed the look with smart brown leather shoes as he beamed for the cameras.

Lauren, 48, looked stylish and relaxed in a black satin halter dress as she spent time with Simon and his Britain’s Got Talent colleague, Alesha Dixon, 47.

The dress was stylish, with gathered fabric at the front, a high slit, and a flowing shape.

She added height with silver strappy heels and accessorised with diamond drop earrings.

The event was also attended by Hendrik Christoffersen, Cruz Lee-Ojo, John Fadare, Nicolas Alves, Josh Olliver, Danny Bretherton, Sean Hayden, Alesha, KAMILLE, Pete Waterman, Bruno Tonioli, Lizzie Cundy, and Savan Kotecha.

Alesha looked stylish in a short black dress, which she paired with a black aviator jacket featuring faux fur trim, as she posed with Simon on the red carpet.

Singer KAMILLE, age 37, showcased a bold look with a see-through silver top covered in pearls, which she wore with a tight-fitting black maxi skirt.

78-year-old record producer Pete chose a navy suit paired with a black sweater and striped blue shirt.

Bruno, a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, stayed cozy in a dark grey leopard-print coat and black jeans.

TV personality Lizzie, 57, looked incredible in a black lace mesh dress and pointed black heels.

Record producer Savan, 47, dressed in a relaxed yet stylish outfit consisting of a black satin blazer, a white t-shirt, and light blue jeans.

Later in the evening, Lauren and Simon appeared in high spirits as they left the hotel.

They burst out laughing and stopped to take some pictures together before heading home.

Lauren layered a chic white blazer over her shoulders as she struck up a smile for the cameras.

Lizzie and her good friend Bruno were also spotted leaving the event together.

The duo were all smiles as they stopped for a quick photo together outside the hotel entrance.

Lizzie appeared cheerful as she walked home for the night, carrying a black coat and a Louis Vuitton bag.

According to a recent Daily Mail report, Simon’s upcoming Netflix documentary will explore challenges in his relationship with his fiancée, Lauren.

The new show premieres on Wednesday, December 10th, and will document a music mogul’s attempt to form a band.

Sources say the new six-episode series will show the pair’s relationship honestly, including all their disagreements and challenges. Viewers can anticipate seeing some heated arguments.

Lauren wasn’t immediately sure about joining the show, but it will quickly become clear how important she is to Simon.

According to a source, being involved in the project will be a turning point for Lauren. She wasn’t eager to participate at first, but the filming team was all around, making it unavoidable.

We wanted to give viewers an honest and authentic portrayal of Lauren and Simon, showing both their good and bad sides. There’s a moment in the show where they have a heated argument, and it’s quite intense and awkward to watch.

The team aimed for a genuine and honest portrayal of the relationship, avoiding anything artificial or overly produced. Viewers will get an unfiltered look at how important this person is to Simon, and how truly down-to-earth they are as a couple.

Daily Mail has contacted Simon’s representative for comment.

Watching the show, I could really feel how much the band search was getting to Lauren. It was tough to see, and at one point, she even asked for her mic to be taken away – it was a really tense moment, honestly. You could tell she was just overwhelmed.

The socialite left Simon as he sat weakly in a chair, receiving vitamins through an IV drip.

She says she doesn’t complain, explaining that she’s simply there for the person she loves, because that’s what you do when you care about someone.

As she leaves, Simon is heard saying: ‘Oh Lauren.’

They first crossed paths in Barbados back in 2004, but their romantic relationship didn’t begin until about 2012. In 2014, they had a son named Eric, and they became engaged in 2021.

Okay, so everyone always said he was anti-marriage, totally swore it wasn’t for him. But then Lauren came along, and honestly, you could just see him changing! I mean, I knew it was happening, but when he actually proposed? She was completely shocked, like, totally didn’t see it coming! It’s just… everything I dreamed for them, honestly. He totally did a 180, and I’m living for it!

Simon met Lauren when she was still married to millionaire property developer Andrew Silverman.

In late July 2013, Simon’s life was turned upside down when it became public that he was having an affair with Lauren, who was also revealed to be pregnant.

In 2015, Simon admitted to Mail on Sunday Event magazine that he wasn’t happy with how things had unfolded, saying he felt ashamed of the situation.

He confessed the pregnancy wasn’t something he’d expected, but he clearly remembered attending the first ultrasound appointment with Lauren.

I nicknamed him Tad because he reminded me of a tadpole. Then, suddenly, a strong feeling came over me – I felt incredibly protective of both him and his brother. I realized I really wanted him, something I hadn’t understood before that moment.

Simon had often said he wasn’t interested in getting married, and he was concerned about how it might affect his money if he ever did.

Simon Cowell, the creator of The X Factor and worth around $600 million, stated in 2008 that he wasn’t a believer in marriage, especially for people in the entertainment industry.

Honestly, a lot of people find that marriage leads to financial problems and ultimately doesn’t work out. It often ends with one partner taking advantage of the other financially.

He has dated several well-known women in the past, including Sinitta, Jackie St. Clair, and Terri Seymour.

I always heard whispers that he was secretly dating Louise Payne, a Page Three girl, after her split from her husband, Fred Fairbrass of Right Said Fred. But he never said anything to confirm it, so it remained just a rumour.

The pair met at a function in London in 1995, yet split three years later.
