Simon Cowell is ‘creating ANOTHER new boyband’ for rival streaming channel just weeks after forming group December 10 on Netflix

Just weeks after launching the group December 10 on Netflix, Simon Cowell is rumored to be starting a new band for Disney+.

The music mogul, 66, formulated the seven-piece boy band in his series, Simon Cowell: The Next Act.

According to The Sun, he’s now expected to be a judge on the new show, Who’s In The Band, joining Mel B after the show’s pilot was given the green light.

According to a source close to the show, Simon has a packed schedule coming up – it’s likely the busiest he’s been since his time working on The X Factor.

Besides a possible second season of his Netflix series, you’ll be able to see him this spring on both the British and American versions of ‘Got Talent’. He’ll be appearing on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ on ITV and a new season of ‘America’s Got Talent’.

He’s also appearing in a documentary about The X Factor on Sky, and now has a promising new show coming to Disney.

The new show, Who’s In The Band, features contestants simultaneously singing the same song while performing inside brightly colored tubes. A test recording of the show included Joe Jonas as one of the judges.

The new show will be hosted by Rei Ami, who voiced Zoey’s singing in Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters.

The prize on offer to the winner is a recording contract with a major label.

The show is currently planned for ABC in the US, but it’s expected to be available worldwide through the company’s streaming platform.

Simon’s new band quickly became famous after being on the TV show, The Next Act. He managed the group, and their popularity soared, even though critics didn’t like their music at first.

Once the show finished airing, the music executive officially formed the group, and they are now prepared to film their first music video.

Their cover of NSYNC’s Bye, Bye, Bye premiered on YouTube on December 15.

This video shows a complete live acoustic performance recorded at Metropolis Studios. Fans may recognize the session as it was briefly shown at the end of the six-part Netflix series.

The group consists of Cruz, Danny, Hendrick, John, Josh, Nicolas, and Sean, who are aged between 16 and 19.

This Netflix documentary series chronicles Simon Cowell’s quest to discover the next big pop star. It brings back the familiar format of open auditions and intensive training, reminiscent of the height of his success with shows like The X Factor.

Simon announced before shooting began that he’s only interested in working with up-and-coming actors for his new project.

A judge on Britain’s Got Talent is worried that the UK isn’t discovering enough exciting new talent. They believe record labels aren’t signing enough new artists, and that these artists are facing stiff competition from online content creators.

Simon Cowell, famous for launching the careers of One Direction and Westlife, believes record labels aren’t currently discovering and signing enough new artists. He shared this opinion with the Daily Mail, expressing his desire to see a change.

The number of UK artists achieving international success has drastically decreased, likely due to the intense competition online.
