He’s been open in the past about the measures he takes in a bid to stay young.
Simon Cowell tried a rather unusual relaxation technique on Thursday: a facial treatment involving numerous needles.
The 66-year-old music executive was photographed by his partner, Lauren Silverman, while receiving acupuncture and red light therapy. Silverman herself also had the treatment.
Celebrity acupuncturist Sarah Bradden offers ‘The Bradden Method,’ a 90-minute treatment costing £545. It combines acupuncture with a variety of therapies, including reiki, facial massage, PEMF, hydrogen and activated oxygen therapy, light therapy, tuning forks, and energy work.
The Sarah Bradden Method focuses on treating the whole you – addressing your emotional and physical well-being at the same time. It’s tailored to your specific needs.
We create personalized treatments to help you regain balance, feel confident and inspired, and achieve your best self – both inside and out – with improved mental health and self-acceptance.
The treatment is said to help anti-ageing, brain protection and ultimate detox and cell repair.
Lauren shared photos on Instagram of her recent treatments, jokingly noting her fear of needles. She expressed surprise at how many needles she received during the facial procedure.
She shared a photo and mentioned that Simon also used the same treatment, along with red light therapy, calling it a ‘very good combo’.
I’ve been following Simon for a while now, and it’s pretty well known he really cares about his appearance. He recently – back in November, I think – announced he’d actually managed to look younger thanks to this new, and honestly a bit strange, blood filtering treatment. It definitely caused a buzz!
The TV star recently told The Sun about the drastic steps he’s taking to try and maintain a youthful appearance.
He described a treatment where his blood is cleaned, filtered, and then reintroduced into his body – a practice that’s become increasingly popular among people in Hollywood recently.
He explained that he visits a wellness clinic where they draw your blood, clean it, filter it, and then return it to your body.
As someone who’s always exploring ways to feel and look your best, I’ve been really interested in what Simon Cowell shared recently. He says he’s been focusing on a few key things that have made a big difference – really cleaning up his diet, incorporating some helpful supplements, getting more active, and, importantly, finding ways to manage stress. He actually believes these changes have helped him feel younger, and honestly, I can see why! It’s a great reminder that taking care of your overall well-being can have amazing effects.
He explained that regular tests show he’s actually getting younger, thanks to a healthier lifestyle – better diet, more exercise, reduced stress, and taking certain supplements. He added that he still feels mentally sharp and has plenty of energy.
He mentioned he’d thought about being cryogenically frozen, but decided against it when he learned the process involves removing the head, leaving you to potentially revive as just a floating head in the future.
The former X-Factor judge was an early adopter among male TV personalities in openly discussing Botox and fillers, though he maintains he’s never had plastic surgery.
Responding to rumors about having surgery, the father of one said last year that he found the claims amusing and denied having had a facelift or any other procedure.
I’ve gotten a little bit of Botox, but nothing major. So, honestly, when I hear about these extreme procedures, it really makes me chuckle.
In 2018, Simon Cowell shared that he’d had a non-surgical facelift costing around £2,000. The procedure, called a Silhouette Soft Lift, uses special threads inserted under the skin of the face and neck to lift and tighten areas that have begun to sag.
He explained that his current focus is on skincare. He believes healthy skin improves appearance, but cautioned that some products require careful use.
The ex-record label executive confessed he once had so much Botox that his face became frighteningly distorted, resembling something from a horror movie.
He admitted he might have pushed things too far at one point. He recently saw an old photo of himself that he didn’t even recognize, and his son, Eric, found it hilarious.
‘Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.’
