The British TV series “Silent Witness” star, Liz Carr, has secured a new streaming platform for her overlooked science fiction action movie titled “Infinite” within the United Kingdom.
In 2021, the movie bypassed a theater release initially and was directly streamed on Paramount+. Currently, the film can also be streamed by Netflix subscribers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Under the direction of Mark Wahlberg, this movie explores a protagonist’s journey as they grapple with symptoms they believe are schizophrenia. However, it’s later revealed that these aren’t just hallucinations, but rather recollections from their past lives.
Some individuals share his characteristics, categorized as Believers who see their wisdom as an opportunity to improve the world, and Nihilists who view their rebirth as a curse and perceive that annihilation is the only means to terminate it.
In this production, Carr takes on the role of Garrick, the leader of the Believers. Additionally, the cast features Chiwetel Ejiofor, known for his portrayal of Bridget Jones, as well as Sophie Cookson from Kingsman, Jason Mantzoukas who starred in Taskmaster, Toby Jones from Mr Bates vs The Post Office, and Dylan O’Brien, famed for his work on Teen Wolf.

Infinite received negative reviews, with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 17% based on 82 reviews.
The critical consensus, as stated, is that “Infinite” starts off interestingly as a science fiction thriller but soon becomes confusing, and it’s both pointless and lacking in substance.

For seven years, Carr embodied beloved character Clarissa Mullery on the BBC’s forensic drama, Silent Witness. However, she left the show in 2020.
Reflecting on my departure, I shared my reasons, expressing that playing the role was an immense source of joy. Clarissa was deeply cherished, and I’m incredibly grateful for the experience and the backing I received in that position. However, I found myself yearning to explore new characters and bring them to life on stage.
She mentioned that “Silent Witness” requires about nine months annually, which left less time for numerous projects she was eager to undertake. This arrangement began to feel restrictive as she yearned to explore other ventures.
Infinite is available to stream now on Netflix.
