Silent Witness fans have heaped praise on the show’s latest episode – notably one aspect.

The long-running BBC crime series has reached its 28th season, and at present, it’s unfolding a two-part narrative titled ‘Vanishing Point.’ This intriguing tale finds character Nikki Alexander embarking on a journey from the bustling city of Mumbai.

Meanwhile, an illness begins to afflict the travelers, as the crew in the UK work diligently to trace the outbreak back to a man’s demise in India.

A variety of viewers have offered their thoughts on the recent episode, with special commendation being given to the newly introduced characters, Harriet Maven played by Maggie Steed, and Kit Brooks portrayed by Francesca Mills.

One fan commented on Emilia Fox’s Instagram post about tonight’s episode: “I truly enjoyed it! It kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat. I’m really enjoying the addition of the new cast members, especially Kit, who is fantastic and a talented actor.

“I agree Kit and Harriet instantly just fit hope they are in series 29,” another added.
