In the year 2022, Sienna and her partner, Oli Green, began their romantic journey. Recently, they joyfully announced the arrival of their first child, who was born to them in the same year.

She gave birth to her daughter Marlowe, now 12, with her ex Tom Sturridge in July 2012.

After giving birth to her second child this year with Oli, Sienna expressed to Stellar Magazine her strong endorsement for later parenthood.

Before welcoming her second child, Sienna spoke about her pregnancy for the first time with Vogue.

However, she mentioned that Marlowe had been longing for a sibling and openly acknowledged feeling “mentally more ready” compared to the arrival of her first child.

Sienna stated: ‘I consider myself quite lucky, as getting pregnant wasn’t intentionally planned. It came as an absolute shock, and it turned out that my body was capable of conceiving naturally.’

She shared about the changes this time, saying, “I have set expectations now, where there were none previously. My psychological readiness is far greater compared to my experience with Marlowe.

The truth was a surprising revelation, it hadn’t crossed my mind before. It seems like something I wasn’t ready for. In my imagination, I envisioned it as wonderful, but now I realize I may have overlooked something.

As a passionate admirer, let me share how Sienna openly tackled the stereotype surrounding pregnancy in later life. She bravely admitted to grappling with her own biases regarding this topic.

She expressed the idea that it’s common for people to accept a lifestyle deeply rooted in the past, which unfortunately reflects misogyny and male dominance.

“It’s unfair and hypocritical to judge relationships where an older individual is partnered with someone younger, or a woman becoming a mother in her forties, as being reckless or detrimental to the child, when similar judgments aren’t applied consistently.

In my own words, I’d express it like this: “I aspire to reach a stage where I no longer feel compelled to humorously acknowledge my age or motherhood, as a way to prove that I embrace the humor of the situation myself.

In an interview earlier this year, she explained: ‘I think you either live your life with caution or you take risks.’

She added that whatever success, or otherwise, her choices are met with, she is finally at peace. 

For quite a while, I had this strong urge to demonstrate my worth, which seems evident in the decisions I made. I opted for roles that were intense, serious, and emotionally taxing, as I believed others might perceive me as lightweight. Now, I’ve moved past that entirely.
