It’s crucial to understand this aspect because your companions can only be unlocked as you progress through the story. LaDS employs an energy system, but it’s quite lenient when it comes to managing this feature.

Gacha system

In typical fashion for free-to-play gacha games, certain banners allow you to draw for items called “memories”. Before entering a fight, these memories can be equipped, though their primary function is to enhance your interaction with your Companion.

These experiences span a wide variety, encompassing voice messages as well as immersive, interactive scenarios where you engage with the Companion in a three-dimensional setting.
