Shocking Truth: Savannah Chrisley Reveals Her Parents Haven’t Spoken in Two Years!
Savannah Chrisley disclosed a surprising transformation in the bond between her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, as a result of their time in prison.
In November 2022, a Georgia jury convicted Todd (age 55) and Julie (age 52) for allegations involving tax evasion and over $30 million in banking fraud.
For a combined total of 17 years, the couple is incarcerated: Todd is spending his time in a prison in Florida, having originally been sentenced for 12 years but later reduced to 10; meanwhile, Julie is serving her sentence in a Kentucky prison, which is seven years long.
They have been there for more than two years since beginning their sentences in January of 2023.
Currently, it’s been stated that Savannah’s parents haven’t exchanged a single word with one another since their incarceration.
Savannah, aged 27, told People that it has been two full years since the last time they spoke, and neither of them has said a single word to each other since then.

They’ve spent nearly three decades together, scarcely spending a moment apart. This has proven to be quite difficult for them. It’s important that such constant companionship is not the norm.
Savannah mentioned that while she and her brothers can independently converse with their parents, it’s important to note that Todd and Julie are unable to communicate directly with each other.
According to the Bureau of Prisons, they aim to keep families united – that’s something they often mention. However, as expressed by Savannah, this claim is a significant departure from reality.
She reiterated that they create significant obstacles, making it difficult for communication with dear ones, preventing visits, and nothing feels straightforward about them.
‘Communication between them should never be hindered, yet it is. They disrupt their emails and letters. There was mail theft and fraud at my father’s place, which is unacceptable, and I won’t let that person escape responsibility for it.’
More recently, Savannah expressed her hope that President Donald Trump might grant a pardon to her parents who were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion charges in 2022.
After having collaborated with President Trump’s team, I am now making him aware of these experiences, which are truly unfortunate. It’s regrettable that my parents are facing such difficulties, but we aim to transform this situation into something positive. In the long run, it’s the government, not us, who will ultimately be defeated by our resilience and determination.
She makes time to see her parents frequently, all the while managing her duties of caring for her sister Chloe, who is 11, and brother Grayson, aged 18.

When Chloe is at school, things become a bit more challenging for me. During the summer, though, it seems as if we were visiting on weekends, either one place or the other, she explained.
Additionally, there have been instances when they limited my father’s visits, or strange occurrences took place. I make an effort to visit them frequently, about once or twice a month. To reiterate, I strive to go whenever I can.
Recently, Savannah expressed her aspiration to meet Trump, whom she backed during the 2024 election campaign. She voiced this intention during a speech in July at the Republican National Convention.
The Atlanta resident stated that he is following the correct steps for the pardon procedure and will make people aware of it since such incidents should never occur.
Approximately three months following Daily Mail’s exclusive report, published a day after the election, about Todd Chrisley celebrating Trump’s victory over Kamala Harris as his democratic opponent, Savannah made her statement.

According to a source, Savannah is confident that Trump will grant clemency to her parents, as reported by Dailymail.com on November 6th.
In August 2019, the pair was first accused. Now, they maintain their innocence regarding the charges for which they were found guilty, and they’ve submitted numerous appeals in an attempt to overturn their sentences.
Savannah mentioned that she intends to discuss with Trump the alleged corruption in Fulton County, Georgia, as well as how the judge managed the case when requesting pardons, with him.
The point at issue could resonate deeply with the president, given that he has consistently alleged corrupt practices by Georgia officials during his telephone conversation with state election officials on January 2, 2021.
During a well-known phone conversation, the president urged election officials to locate an additional 11,780 votes in his favor for the 2020 presidential contest.
Savannah shared with everyone that her family had always upheld the honesty and the undeniable facts, only to be disillusioned when a flawed judicial system led to their parents’ conviction and imprisonment, leaving them bewildered and stunned.
Savannah remarked, “We watched everything unfold and couldn’t believe it could possibly end like that. Yet, it indeed did.

The star of Chrisley Knows Best shared with a media outlet about how family issues have affected her personally, as she assumed the responsibilities of legal guardianship for her siblings Grayson (aged 18) and Chloe (aged 12), when she was just 25 years old.
In my own journey, I’ve encountered a significant amount of challenges, there’s no denying that. There are experiences in my past that I’ve kept private, experiences I’ve yet to share with the world.
When you endure quiet struggles, resilience naturally emerges within you. When you face these silent battles, it seems like nobody stood by your side.

In her podcast “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley,” Savannah Chrisley shared insights on how she’s grown stronger, adaptable, and resilient as she matures, drawing from the lessons and knowledge gained through the years of living and learning.
She stated, ‘Either you chose not to let anyone support you, or no one was around to do so; in any case, you became adept at lifting yourself back up.’
Savannah shared with the media that her dad, Todd, was always a motivator, instilling in her a positive mindset prepared to tackle any obstacles life might present.
Savannah stated that she is originally from a location where her father often encouraged her with words like, “Let’s get going! We can accomplish this. We can accomplish this. You are capable of doing anything a man does, perhaps even exceeding them.
Savannah explained that her resilience in overcoming hardships stems from the supportive words and inspiration she receives from her dear ones.

Savannah shared with the media outlet that she is determined not to quit and wants her future children to be proud of what she achieves. She has a strong fighting spirit within her, and as a true Leo, she never gives up.
In November, it was reported by Dailymail.com that Savannah has relentlessly been endeavoring to secure her parents’ release for quite some time now, which led to her speaking at the Republican National Convention (RNC).
Since their conviction, she’s dedicated every moment of her awake time to advocating for their release. As soon as she discovered a potential avenue through the RNC, she seized the opportunity, according to the source.
