Shocking Texts Reveal Ryan Reynolds and Justin Baldoni’s Unexpected Bond Before Legal Drama!
Justin Baldoni recently shared what appear to be fresh, controversial text exchanges between his “It Ends With Us” co-star Blake Lively and her partner Ryan Reynolds in the midst of their ongoing court case.
During the weekend, the multi-talented figure (actor and director), aged 41, made public a website featuring his recent court documents, among which is an extensive chronology of incidents preceding the well-known legal dispute involving the prominent celebrities.
On his website named “Lawsuit Info,” he publicly posted his revised lawsuit claim and attached a 168-page ‘chronology of crucial events’ as an exhibit for his filing, to counter Lively’s accusations that he had sexually assaulted her while they were producing the romantic drama together.
The extensive document revealed what appeared to be text message conversations between him and Lively, aged 37, as well as previously undisclosed chats between Baldoni and Reynolds, who is 48 years old.
In one of the supposed text conversations, Lively proposed to Baldoni the idea of revising the rooftop scene for April 2023.
She reportedly texted him, “If we had more time together, you would understand that I express myself with a touch of flirtation and a hint of sweetness when it comes to ball busting. It’s the way I show affection. Subtle yet spicy, always without being harsh…
In addition, Baldoni shared what appears to be the initial text exchange between him and Lively’s spouse, Reynolds, among other communications.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Lively and Reynolds’ representatives for comment.
As stated in his court documents, Baldoni contacted Reynolds on the 28th of February, 2023, having previously requested Lively’s phone number.
In the texts under question, there was a friendly and respectful conversation approximately a month prior, where Reynolds and Baldoni appeared to get along quite well, before the accusations against Reynolds for verbally abusing Baldoni over claims of body shaming Lively.
According to Baldoni’s lawsuit, it was reported that he was invited to Lively and Reynolds’ New York City penthouse in April 2023, whereupon his arrival, Reynolds was present.
After Lively claimed that Baldoni publicly criticized her body and weight during filming, Baldoni refuted the charges, describing them as completely false. He referenced a situation where Reynolds reportedly snapped at him in an angry tone: “How dare you asking about my wife’s weight? What gives you the right?
According to the legal records, Baldoni asserted that the attitude from Reynolds and Lively was so confrontational that it left him with no option but to repeatedly apologize, even though those apologies were unnecessary.
A bit more than a month ago, Baldoni reached out to the Deadpool actor with the aim of fostering a new relationship. They exchanged friendly messages.
In his message to Reynolds, Baldoni mentioned that he had requested his number more than a month back and had been wanting to send a text for some time, yet his old nerves held him back.
He referred to himself as ‘the guy who brought his literal baggage to his meeting with your wife.’
Through a somewhat lengthy and self-described “uncomfortable” message, Baldoni offered a glimpse into his enduring marriage with his spouse Emily Baldoni.
Emily and I maintain a compact social group. Living in the countryside, we mainly spend time together. Over the years, our closest friends have been acquainted, and my wife is also friends with most of them, including any female friends I might have, not even excluding married ones. So, I suppose this message may appear awkward, but I’m reaching out to express that I’d enjoy being friends with you.
In their cordial exchange, Baldoni also included Reynolds’ alleged amiable reply.
‘Your message is so heartwarming and thoughtful. I appreciate it. We’re thrilled at the prospect of learning more about you and your loved ones. Furthermore, we’ve been admirers of yours even before our encounter, and that feeling has only grown since then.’ Reynolds expressed.
‘It has been truly delightful working with you, and your collaboration has made a significant impact on me personally as well as professionally. You have consistently demonstrated integrity and professionalism, which is everything in our line of work. I appreciate all that you’ve done since we began working together. Thank you.’
Additionally, Baldoni also revealed a text message he claims is from Reynolds, suggesting they discussed Reynolds’ wife collaborating with the director of “It Ends With Us” on the film.
In simpler terms, the actor portraying Green Lantern informed Baldoni that he accidentally bumped into Lively (his co-star and romantic interest in the movie) with a backpack.
Reynolds referred to Baldoni as a “respected individual” and a “great team player,” expressing these sentiments toward Lively.
‘She constantly rejects every movie and director, according to Reynolds’ message to Baldoni. Yet, I can assure you – based on my extensive background knowledge – it’s priceless to have her working with you secretly as a creative asset.’
He expressed his enthusiasm in a text, saying, ‘I can’t wait for you two to collaborate!’ He thinks it will be amazing when Blake unlocks her creativity with someone as vibrant as you. This collaboration promises to be truly exceptional!
He concluded his message: ‘I happen to adore you, Justin.’
In the lead-up to their pre-trial meeting on Monday, Baldoni has made a new move in his ongoing legal conflict with Lively. The trials in the case of Lively v. Wayfarer Studios et al., which are set for next year on March 9, 2026, are what this is all about.
In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, Jamey Heath (the main producer of “It Ends With Us”), as well as Baldoni’s publicist Jennifer Abel, crisis publicist Melissa Nathan, and several others.
In a statement, Lively claimed that Baldoni was guilty of sexual harassment and further alleged that he initiated a malicious campaign to tarnish her reputation after she voiced accusations concerning his inappropriate behavior during the filming of their movie.
In response to the accusations, Baldoni has filed a lawsuit against Lively, her spouse Reynolds, their publicist Leslie Sloane, and Sloane’s PR firm, Vision PR, Inc., charging them with defamation and extortion.
On the 31st of January, Baldoni put forth a revised lawsuit against Lively, seeking damages totaling $400 million.
In addition to himself and his production company, he is also part of a team of ten plaintiffs who are taking legal action against The New York Times, due to an explosive article they published regarding Lively’s original lawsuit.
