In an unexpected turn of events, Ryan Donnelly from the reality show “Married at First Sight” has decided to break convention and made public personal messages he exchanged with his television spouse, Jacqui Burfoot.

On Tuesday, the reality TV personality, aged 36, posted screenshots from a WhatsApp chat with Jacqui, 29, that highlighted her shift in sentiment, evident when comparing her stance during the Final Commitment Ceremony and the Final Temptation Challenge.

The revealed texts suggest that Jacqui assertively declared on Monday that she was compelled by the production team to continue participating in the experiment, even though she wished to depart.

She posted on Instagram that tonight she attempted to depart, packing her belongings, but was prevented by the team in charge. They insisted she couldn’t go, citing the regulations of the study as the reason for her confinement.

They informed me that Ryan was feeling overwhelmed, so I saw this as an opportunity to ensure he felt valued and acknowledged as a fellow human being.

Looking back, that seems to be my last assignment. I couldn’t envision a prosperous path forward together. It was time for me to move on, peacefully as possible. Starting tomorrow, I’ll be exploring opportunities to connect with fresh faces and embark on new experiences.

On Sunday evening, the relationship between Ryan and Jacqui came close to an end during the last Commitment Ceremony, as they sat on the couch discussing their issues.
