The video, which has gone viral, captures the moment when the popular singer attempted to maintain composure as technical difficulties interrupted his rendition of “Cry Me a River.

44-year-old Timberlake is casually discussing with a team member, who appears to be checking his watch, potentially providing an estimated time for the repair.

But things take a turn fast.

As another team member draws near, Timberlake suddenly erupts, launching into an intense rant that carries on for several moments.

At a certain moment, the performer made a powerful “sever my throat” motion by swiping his hand across his neck dramatically, leaving his bewildered crew in shock as he suddenly walked off stage, ending the performance abruptly.

Critics didn’t hold back. 

In the realm of stage performances, it’s seen as extremely unacceptable behavior to show frustration or lose control with your backstage team.

Another chimed in and said, ‘He mad about anything and everything.’ 

One user contended that Timberlake had a valid reason to be annoyed with the team, as they had ample time to ready themselves for the occasion.

The SexyBack vocalist took to Instagram last week with a slideshow of images from the concert. 

The former *NSYNC leading singer captioned the shot, ‘Lytham, I LOVE Y’ALL!’ 

Timberlake is father to two sons with wife Jessica Biel, 43: Silas, 10, and Phineas, four.
