Shock as Curb Your Enthusiasm star REFUSES to go onstage at comedy show over $800 check
Jeff Garlin does not accept checks.
In an unfortunate turn of events, a country club located in Calabasas, California discovered firsthand the consequences of not having enough ready cash, when the entertainer Larry David (famous for Curb Your Enthusiasm) abruptly ended a performance due to the venue’s inability to pay his $800 fee in cash last week.
According to sources speaking with Page Six, it was reported on Wednesday that Garlin, known for playing Jeff Greene in Larry David’s famous HBO comedy, resigned from his position at the Calabasas Country Club due to a shortage of actual cash on site.
A well-known comedian from Chicago, famous for his role as Murray Goldberg on The Goldbergs, disappointed approximately 40 attendees when he decided to leave, as they had expressly gathered to see him perform live, according to a report.
‘The crowd was pissed – most of them had come to see Jeff,’ the source told the outlet.
According to a source, Garlin, known for his role as Jeff Greene in Larry David’s classic HBO comedy, is often quite anxious about details and can become fixated on certain matters.

Daily Mail has reached out to Garlin’s reps for further comment on the story.
On Thursday, Garlin, who is turning 63, boasts over 212,000 followers on his Instagram account.
On their website, the Calabasas Country Club is described as a flexible and sophisticated setting suitable for various kinds of festivities.

The venue expressed that whether you’re organizing a Mitzvah, a romantic wedding, celebrating a significant anniversary, birthday, or a professional event, their beautiful surroundings and top-notch service will turn your event into an unforgettable experience.
‘With customizable spaces and breathtaking views, we provide the perfect setting for every event.’
The website boasts that its golf facilities offer an exceptional, skillfully designed golf course by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr., catering to golfers with varying abilities, ensuring a delightful game for everyone.
The club stated that each round offers an aesthetic appeal, diversity, and a one-of-a-kind test. Furthermore, the scenic surroundings make it an ideal location for weddings, celebrations, and other significant events. Skilled event planners and chefs are on hand to ensure every aspect is immaculate.
As a devoted enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that this venue takes pride in offering a Callaway Performance Center, a Dave Pelz short game area, a vast driving range covered in lush grass, and an expansive 6,000-square-foot fitness center tailored for golf-focused training and group workout sessions.
