On Sunday, Mark Wahlberg flaunted his well-defined abdominals in a recent Instagram post while requesting a cart full of ice from room service to maintain his unique fitness routine.
Back in 2018, I, a dedicated follower, found myself making news headlines after unveiling my intense daily routine online. My mornings started with a 2:30 am wake-up call, followed by a rigorous workout at 4 am.
It appears that Mark has scheduled additional activities, and it’s interesting to see how he manages such a demanding routine when he’s not at home.
In a hotel bathroom, the man known as Ted from the show without a shirt was spotted, preparing to fill a bathtub with several bags of ice stacked upon a three-tier cart before pouring them in.
Mark rocked a pair of swimming shorts and trainers as he sipped on a coffee while showing off a sign on the ice cart which stated the ‘Ice is being held for a VIP’.

This year, I’ve found myself adopting a remarkable shift in my workout schedule, following Mark’s lead. Instead of hitting the gym at 4 am as I once did, I now find myself there at the unconventional hour of 2 am.
The actor improved significantly by admitting he now rises earlier for workouts, aiming to seize the day ahead.
He documented his intense workout regimen and uploaded to his account, writing, ‘My week starts on Sunday 2am. Get a head start.’
The video began with him lifting up his shirt to the camera to show off his washboard abs.
Next, a sequence of videos showing him exercising appeared on the screen; In these videos, Mark could be observed performing push-ups, using the leg press machine, and lifting weights, along with several other activities.
In a follow-up video, he responded to people who were wondering what time he goes to bed to be in the gym by 2am.
“What time should I sleep? I always get eight hours of sleep. If I need to go to the gym at 1 o’clock, then I must have gone to bed at 5 PM. Just do the calculations,” he said.
In simple terms, the actor shared that his typical daily routine involves prayer, followed by a shower, and finally, a trip to the gym in the mornings.
‘That’s happening every single day,’ he added. ‘No more excuses. Get up and get it done. Let’s go.’
In February, Mark opened up about his intense workout routine to People magazine. He confessed that there are times when he’s not motivated to rise early for a gym session, but in the end, he forces himself to do it anyway, as he doesn’t want to be burdened by the regret of not giving his best effort.
He expressed that he doesn’t want to overlook anything since, unfortunately, if he takes shortcuts, fails to appear, neglects his duties, and doesn’t achieve the desired outcomes, he knows full well the reasons for it.
‘I don’t want to live with that regret. I always feel better after and I just go and get it in.
‘The hard work that I’ve put in has always been a reason why I have success.’
In 2018, Mark initially discussed his unusual routine. Back then, he disclosed that he usually woke up at 2:30 in the morning and was already at the gym by 4 o’clock, exercising for more than an hour.
Later on, he mentioned that he spent thirty minutes playing golf, treating it as additional exercise, then proceeded with a cryo chamber treatment.
At 4 PM, he’d engage in another hour-long workout. He mentioned that he’d likely be in bed around 7:30 PM by then.
