Shirtless David Beckham shows off his tattoos and ripped abs in Miami after his son Cruz confirmed Victoria removed all her inkings

David Beckham was seen shirtless on Friday, displaying his tattoos, shortly after his wife, Victoria, had all of hers removed.

The 50-year-old former soccer player, covered in tattoos, flaunted his muscular physique while relaxing in the Miami sunshine.

He cooled off in the pool, wearing a baseball cap to block the sun, and simply wrote ‘Good afternoon’ in the photo’s caption.

His wife Victoria showed her approval as she commented: ‘Someone has been in the gym!!!’

I’ve always noticed how David proudly wears tattoos honoring his kids and his wedding year – little reminders of his family right on his skin. It’s interesting because Victoria, his wife, has actually had all of hers removed. It just shows how people change and express themselves differently over time, doesn’t it?

Cruz shared that his mother has had all of her tattoos removed, even those dedicated to his father.

Victoria Beckham, the former Spice Girl who now designs fashion, used to have six tattoos, including a Hebrew poem on her back.

Her youngest son, 21-year-old Cruz, has let fans know that she’s had them all taken out.

During an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday, a follower asked if Victoria Beckham has any tattoos, noting that her husband, David, has quite a few.

Cruz replied: ‘No not anymore x.’

Victoria used to have a tattoo on her left wrist featuring her husband’s initials, DB, and the phrase ‘Together, forever, eternally’ written in Hebrew. She got it to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary.

Beneath the image were the Roman numerals VIII-V-MMVI, representing May 8, 2006—the date she and her husband, David, who was 50 at the time, reaffirmed their marriage vows.

Directly above, she had the words ‘De Integro’, which mean ‘again from the start’.

Victoria Beckham has five stars tattooed on her lower back, each symbolizing a member of her family: herself, her husband David, and their three sons – Cruz, Romeo, and Brooklyn, who is 27.

It’s unclear whether Victoria Beckham added a fifth star to her nickname, ‘Posh Spice,’ after her daughter Harper was born in 2011.

A Hebrew poem was tattooed on her upper back, reading: ‘I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine; I gaze at the lilies.’

I’ve always been fascinated by meaningful tattoos, and this one is particularly beautiful. It’s a large inscription, something she used to show off with pride – David actually has the same one! It translates to ‘I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine,’ which is such a romantic and powerful statement about connection and belonging. It really speaks to a deep, mutual love.

Victoria has been working on changing her image for a while now. In 2022, she addressed fans’ observations that her tattoos seemed to be fading.

Fans were surprised and curious when they noticed she had removed the tattoos on her wrist in a recent beauty video.

As a lifestyle expert, I often talk about embracing change, and sometimes that means acknowledging past choices. I recently shared on The Today Show that I got some tattoos years ago, and honestly, they weren’t exactly subtle – they weren’t the delicate, understated designs you see trending now.

My nails were a bit thick and had some minor bleeding, making them not look their best. It was just a cosmetic issue, nothing serious.

She concluded: ‘I was just a bit sick of the tattoo. It’s as simple as that.’

I’ve been following laser tattoo removal for a while now, and it’s amazing how it works! Basically, they use pulses of light to shatter the tattoo ink into really tiny pieces. Your body then naturally gets rid of those fragments through your liver and digestive system. I’m saving up for sessions myself, and it seems like you can expect to pay around £150 for a smaller tattoo, but larger pieces could cost up to £800 per treatment.

Eight to 10 sessions are typically needed for large tattoos.

The removal process can be temporarily painful, causing blisters and skin redness, and tattoos usually only fade, not vanish completely. Around 18% of people in Britain have at least one tattoo.

Victoria used to have tattoos but had them removed, unlike her husband who still has many. Their sons have tattoos as well now.
