Shiloh Channels Punk Rock Vibes with Cool Earring, Fans Say She’s Angelina’s Mini-Me!

As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but notice that on this very Wednesday, none other than the enchanting Shiloh, daughter of the iconic duo Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was spotted making her way towards a dance studio in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles. The sighting filled me with admiration for the young starlet’s passion for the art!

As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but notice a unique accessory gracing the stage that night – a safety pin in her ear, a bold statement that echoed the rebellious spirit of punk rock icons.

In the 1990s, while at Beverly Hills High School, Angelina Jolie openly embraced the punk fashion trend during her teenage years.

2023 saw Jolie describe her adolescence as “turbulent” to Vogue. She explained, “I wasn’t the cool kid; instead, I was more of a rebel. I spent my time rummaging through thrift stores, altering clothes, and making small burn marks with cigarettes on various items.

Currently, spectators believe that 18-year-old Shiloh might be treading a similar path as her highly acclaimed film actress parent.

This month, Shiloh, who legally changed her last name from her 60-year-old father’s in August, spent time with her adorable friend, Keoni Rose.

Originating from Seattle, Rose possesses an artistic past in the realm of ballet dance. Beyond this, she harbors passions for acting, modeling, and scriptwriting.

This is the third time they have been seen together in the past four months. 

They wore loose-fitting garments, carrying bundles of clothing, preparing for an exercise routine.

Shiloh and Keoni, both managed by The Movement Talent Agency, seem to share a strong bond due to their common hobbies or passions.

Shiloh wore a black graphic hoodie over a beanie, paired with blue sweatpants and well-worn white sneakers.

The Los Angeles resident also had wide gold rings on her fingers. 

Shiloh was recently spotted out in public, following Angelina Jolie’s statement on Good Morning America that Shiloh and her siblings prefer to keep a low profile.

Angelina stated: ‘None of my children want to be in front of the camera [at] this time.’ 

Shiloh primarily grew up away from the limelight, but she started acting at just two years old in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button alongside her father, and also had a small role in her mother’s animated film Kung Fu Panda 3 which was released in 2016.

At age eight, she turned down the opportunity to be in her mom’s 2014 film Maleficent. 

Jolie recounted that when she inquired from Shiloh about taking on the role of Aurora, she was met with laughter. Instead, Shiloh expressed her intention to portray a horned character. Initially, Shiloh, affectionately known as ‘Shi’ by those close to her, captured global attention last year (2021) when a clip of her dancing spread like wildfire online.

In May, it was shared with DailyMail.com by her long-term choreographer, Keelan Carter, that this teen is absolutely unlike the typical Hollywood child of privilege, often referred to as a “nepo baby.

The skilled choreographer, actor, and fashion designer went on to say that Shiloh is remarkably gifted in dance, consistently showing determination and effort.

‘She is a sincere and straightforward person who never uses her celebrity status to her advantage.’

‘Shi doesn’t lean on her renowned identity to reach her objectives; instead, it’s her talent that speaks for itself. To be honest, I wasn’t familiar with her initially, and her fame seems irrelevant, particularly within the context of a dance studio.’

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I get it – it’s tempting to only see the glamour and fame when it comes to celebrities. However, I strongly encourage you to look beyond that facade and engage with her as an individual. Trust me, the richness of the experience will be more than worth the effort.

Keelan mentioned to DailyMail.com that he creates his latest dance videos with Shiloh in a similar manner as I share videos of any dancer who visits my sessions or classes, and I feel they’re worthy of being highlighted.

Many videos showcasing Shiloh have been shared by Keelan and several of her fellow dance classmates, but it’s uncommon for her to be tagged in these videos because everyone involved values her privacy, according to DailyMail.com.

Despite not directly addressing Shiloh’s dancing, Angelina, who has been associated with the UN Refugee Agency for over twenty years, has vocalized her support for nurturing the individual abilities of all her kids.

In that interview with Reuters, she stated that children ought to have the freedom to communicate however they choose, as this is a significant aspect of their development, without anyone passing judgment on them.

2022 saw Brad, Shiloh’s father, expressing his admiration for her dancing skills to Entertainment Tonight during the promotion of his movie, Bullet Train.

He called Shiloh ‘very beautiful’ and said that her talent ‘brings a tear the eye.’

She went on to say, “Shiloh prefers to don clothing typically worn by boys. She expresses a strong liking for this style. In fact, she aspires to be identified as a boy. Consequently, we decided to give her a short haircut. She enjoys wearing clothes that are traditionally male. She feels like one of the brothers.

Since 2021, my dance skillset has gained recognition, primarily due to the viral YouTube post by LA-based choreographer Hamilton Evans, showcasing me grooving to Rihanna’s Vegas hit.

In Studio City’s Millennium Dance Complex, she seized the spotlight and executed a lively, one-minute dance performance, with two other girls standing beside her.

In another video, Shiloh showcased her top dances to Lizzo’s “About Damn Time”, as her dance group looked on from the rear.

It was reported by a source to Us Weekly that Shiloh is quite fond of dancing, and her skills are genuinely impressive, as she’s been attending dance classes consistently for several years.

She’s also formed some great connections within the dance community, and they all communicate in chat groups where they swap their preferred playlists and similar content.

The teachers hold her in high regard and believe she could reach new heights if she chooses to advance further. Shiloh seems poised to accomplish this goal.
