SHIFT UP Begins Large-Scale Recruitment for Stellar Blade Sequel Development

SHIFT UP is now hiring extensively to create the next installment of Stellar Blade. The company recently announced the sequel will be a high-quality, multi-platform action game for both consoles and PC. Building on the original game’s exciting combat and story, SHIFT UP is expanding its team to make their vision a reality.

SHIFT UP aims to launch the sequel to Stellar Blade and a new action RPG called Project Spirits by 2027. These games are part of a broader strategy to grow their game franchises, including Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and expanding Stellar Blade to more platforms. If a version of Stellar Blade for the Nintendo Switch 2 is in the works, it would align with these expansion plans.

So, I’ve been playing Stellar Blade – it’s out on PS5 and PC now, and it’s been HUGE! They’ve already sold over 3 million copies, and that’s just five days after the PC version dropped on June 11th. It’s awesome to see the game doing so well. Apparently, to celebrate, the developers, SHIFT UP, gave their employees Nintendo Switch 2 consoles, which has everyone wondering if Stellar Blade might come to the Switch 2 someday. But as of right now, SHIFT UP hasn’t said anything official about a Switch 2 version, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

The Stellar Blade Complete Edition is also out now. It includes the full game, plus the Twin Expansion Pack with DLC inspired by NieR: Automata and Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. You’ll also get a code for a Stellar Blade costume in the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE mobile game, along with exclusive drone cosmetics (the Fluffy Bear Pack) and a special outfit (Planet Diving Suit) for Eve.
