Shia LaBeouf Called ‘Creep’ by Timothée Chalamet Fans Over ‘Greatness’ Comment

Fans of Timothée Chalamet have criticized Shia LaBeouf harshly after he made disparaging remarks about the young actor in a recent, somewhat confrontational interview.

38-year-old actor from Transformers stirred up a reaction among 29-year-old Chalamet’s passionate fans when he spoke about the criticism he received for aspiring to be ‘exceptional’, while Chalamet, a two-time Oscar winner, was lauded for the same ambition.

The story unfolded as Shia LaBeouf was talking about his dismissal from the 2013 Broadway production “Orphans”, a role where there were reports of him clashing with fellow actor Alec Baldwin.

Pondering over his intense acting techniques that involved sleeping in Central Park and attending Baldwin’s acting classes, the contentious celebrity stated that embracing Catholicism had significantly impacted him.

He told THR: ‘Me and Alec would never have these problems now. But I was in an island.

After that, I noticed Timothée Chalamet rise and utter something akin to, “I aspire to be exceptional.” Indeed, I can relate. In his case, it’s endearing. In mine, not so much. I believe you understand my sentiment.

In February, Chalamet publicly declared his aspiration to be a legendary actor after he was awarded the Best Actor SAG Award for A Complete Unknown.

He emphasized that this award holds immense importance to him, as it means the world to him. Although we’re in an industry where opinions vary, he admitted that his ultimate goal is indeed to achieve greatness.

Upon hearing the news, I swiftly turned to social media platforms, where I found many expressing their disapproval towards the actor, citing past abuse allegations made by his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs in a 2020 lawsuit. However, it’s important to note that he has vehemently denied these accusations.

One spectator commented: ‘I wasn’t particularly charmed by what Timmy said, but perhaps mistreating your spouse is a matter of greater worry for others in relation to you. Just an assumption.’

This individual is a 29-year-old veteran in this field who maintains an excellent reputation, in contrast to Shia LaBeouf. You, however, could have achieved greatness as well, but your attitude hinders you.

Shia has a lot of talent, but at times, he seems to trip himself up. I believe this might stem from some lingering issues from his childhood that he could benefit from addressing. Doing so would allow him to fully unleash his natural acting prowess, which has always been there.

Timothée Chalamet carries it off effortlessly, devoid of affectation. He delivers it sincerely, stirring the belief that he truly has the potential to excel. Shia LaBeouf, on the other hand, seemed more like an amateur dabbler.

‘Well he’s not an abuser like you.

‘Bc Timmy is cute as hell, your’e just creepy…

I wasn’t particularly charmed by what Timmy said, but maybe it’s worth noting that mistreating your spouse might be a bigger issue for others in terms of your character. Just speculating.

Others highly commended the actor for his exceptional skill, expressing it as follows: “Shia is outstanding. He’s our era’s equivalent to Dennis Hopper. He’s been instrumental in numerous contemporary masterpieces such as Constantine, I Robot, Transformers, and more.

‘Shia is my favorite actor..

In a lawsuit filed back then, FKA made several shocking claims, which the actor responded to in 2022. However, the singer countered by accusing him of manipulation or gaslighting.

By labeling her as a ‘guardian angel’, the actor reminisced about how she had ‘rescued him from peril’. This memory prompted him to acknowledge his actions and assume personal accountability.

In 2018, the pair had a relationship that lasted approximately a year, beginning when they met on the production of the American drama “Honey Boy”. Later, Twigs publicly claimed that he subjected her to persistent abuse and intentionally gave her a sexually transmitted infection.

She branded their relationship ‘the worst thing I’ve ever been through in my life’.

In a 2022 interview, he openly confessed, “I caused harm to a woman. Unintentionally, I also caused pain to numerous others, not just her, but many others prior to her as well.

Originally, I led a life focused on personal pleasure, self-interest, and dishonesty. I was often insensitive to others’ needs and lived with fear. Reflecting upon my past and present, I realize the necessity for change. I yearn to become valuable, to serve a purpose beyond myself.

In her accusations, FKA claims that Shia assaulted her, choked her, and intentionally transmitted a sexually transmitted disease to her, while also using abusive language and inflicting physical harm.

However, Shia, who was diagnosed with PTSD and alcoholism, maintained in the year 2022 that he is currently in a more favorable state. He referred to himself as a “public penitent” instead.

He conveyed: “I belong to the group of imperfect individuals. I’m a highly visible sinner, quite fallible in the public eye. My current mission seems to be about avoiding…

We’ve seen other instances of dealing with situations like this – such as pursuing a woman, winning a legal case, or making a comeback in a film industry. It’s also about regaining one’s footing in general…

My intention, coming from the very core of who I am, is to use my life as a teaching tool, serving as a clear, guiding example for a moral and principled lifestyle.

The lawsuit is scheduled to proceed to trial in September 29, 2025 .

The star is now married to actress Mia Goth, 31, and the pair share a three year old daughter.
