It’s the photograph that has sparked utter dread for those who know and love Katie Price.

She left a showbusiness party in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, wearing see-through brown lace leggings and showing off her tattoos. Two friends were walking closely beside her.

Katie Price, 47, formerly known as Jordan, appeared very thin and unsteady while walking to her car Saturday night.

People who know Katie well acknowledge she enjoys being the center of attention and often dresses provocatively. However, recent photos have deeply worried her friends, with one telling me, ‘She’s visibly deteriorating, and it’s heartbreaking to watch.’

It could sound like an exaggeration, but consider that this woman has already lived through years of hardship due to her history with serious mental health challenges, including PTSD, depression, and past suicide attempts.

But sources close to her say that ‘this time it seems different’.

Katie briefly visited Yazmin Oukhellou’s shop opening in Hoddesdon, staying for just 20 minutes. She was then seen with friends, sporting new long, black hair extensions, black heels, and large sunglasses.

A friend says they’re really concerned about Katie, as she’s never looked this bad before. They’ve seen her struggling in the past, but this time she’s almost unrecognizable – she looks like a completely different person.

It’s heartbreaking to see how weak she’s become. She seems to be fading away, and all we want is for her to recover.

Katie looked much different than I remember – I’ve met her several times over the years, starting with her 23rd birthday party at Home House in London back in 2001.

Katie was known for being outspoken and a bit rough around the edges, but she appeared confident and cheerful while hosting her party with OK! magazine. She confidently showed off her famously enhanced figure and clearly enjoyed letting loose and having fun.

I remember seeing her often at Chinawhite in London. She always had her old manager, Dave Reed, with her, and they’d usually be laughing hysterically. She was petite, but generally looked really well.

I’ve seen her go through tough times, even after her painful breakup with Peter Andre, but she seemed more fragile last weekend than she did then.

People who have worked with Katie over the years say she’s experienced a lot. She began her career as a model, using the name Jordan, in 1996 when she was just 18, and quickly became very well-known.

Looking back at my relationships, things definitely had their ups and downs. I dated a few different people – singer Dane Bowers was one, and then I met Dwight Yorke, who is Harvey’s father. Harvey is my oldest, and he was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome, which is a really rare genetic condition. It means he develops a bit slower and is prone to weight gain, but he’s an absolute joy and teaches me something new every day.

Katie shed her stage name, Jordan, and met Peter while both were contestants on ‘I’m A Celebrity’ in 2004. They married in 2006 and had two children, Junior (20) and Princess (18), before separating in 2009.

She has faced significant financial hardship, declaring bankruptcy on two occasions, and also avoided jail time after being convicted of driving under the influence.

It’s not surprising to hear that Katie’s children are worried about her, according to people who know her family.

Seven years ago, Princess and Junior went to live with their father, Peter, and his wife, Emily, a doctor. They had a peaceful childhood there, but remained close to their mother.

“I’m sure they’ve seen this photo,” one colleague remarked. “They monitor everything, and it must be upsetting to see her like that—especially considering how much they already worry about her. She just seems so fragile in it.”

They have a deep love for their mother, but her decisions have caused them difficulties, and they’re understandably hurting.

Katie Price’s two children with her former partner Kieran Hayler are now living with her, so her friends were a bit surprised she went out without them.

I was so relieved when the kids went to live with their mom again last month. They’d been living with their father since 2018, but he was recently accused of a terrible crime – allegedly assaulting a young girl. It was devastating news, and honestly, it really set Katie back. She’s been struggling for a while, and this just made everything so much harder for her.

Today, many are wondering whether Katie’s frail physique is down to weight loss jabs – some who know her say that they are sure she is taking the drugs.

During a podcast interview, Katie explained that she had gained weight because of the physical and emotional challenges of undergoing IVF treatment.

She explained that looking at older photos reminds her how much smaller she used to be, even after having children. While she’s gained some weight in the last three years, she accepts it and understands the reasons behind the change.

Some people believe Katie’s concerned expression has a surprisingly simple explanation: she actually enjoys the attention, whether it’s spoken or written.
