She likely wasn’t pleased with Timothée Chalamet publicly declaring his love for his girlfriend at the Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday.
The controversy surrounding Ms. Cromer began at an event that happened the day before.
Following the successful release of his new movie, Marty Supreme, 30-year-old actor attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival in California, bringing 28-year-old Ms. Jenner as his date. This marks the beginning of what is expected to be several weeks of increased public attention for the actor.
Kylie Jenner, wearing a striking orange dress by designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin, looked radiant as Timothée Chalamet received the Actor of the Year award. She shares two children with her former partner, rapper Travis Scott.
Actually, Ms. Cromer wasn’t at home in LA watching what was happening. She was at the same event, seated nearby – just a few feet behind Ms. Jenner – and was watching the couple with a noticeable pair of glasses.
Being close to Kylie Jenner caused security worries because this Timothée Chalamet fan is known for strongly disliking the reality star and has tried to sabotage her relationship with the actor.

Apparently, she claimed the only reason Ms. Jenner and Timothée Chalamet were even seen together was because she had something on him – something she could use to blackmail him. It was a pretty wild claim, honestly.
Following Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s first public appearance together on the red carpet at the David Di Donatello Awards in Italy last May, a user named Ms. Cromer covered Jenner’s face in a photo and criticized her for seeking attention.
Recently, fans and the media have been asked to focus on Timothée Chalamet and his new film, “Marty Supreme,” rather than the attention surrounding his relationship with Kendall Jenner.
According to a source, Timothée Chalamet won’t publicly support or comment on any potentially harmful fan behavior. He’s happy to appreciate positive fan activities, like look-alike contests, but won’t engage with online harassment or negativity.
