BBC has released a first look and cast details for season four of Beyond Paradise. Sherwood’s Andrea Lowe will join the cast. The new season, a spin-off of Death in Paradise, will arrive later this month and continue the story of DI Humphrey Goodman (played by Kris Marshall) and his team in the beautiful town of Shipton Abbott.
Sally Bretton will be back as Martha Goodman in season four, following her character’s wedding in the Christmas special. Zahra Ahmadi, Dylan Llewellyn, and Felicity Montagu will reprise their roles as DS Esther Williams, PC Kelby Hartford, and Margo Martins. Completing the main cast are Barbara Flynn as Martha’s mother, Anne Lloyd, along with Jamie Bamber, Melina Sinadinou as Archie Hughes and Zoe Williams (Esther’s former partner and daughter).
Season four of Death in Paradise follows DI Humphrey Goodman and his team as they tackle a series of strange and challenging cases in Shipton Abbott. They’ll investigate everything from the death of a writer who seemingly predicted his own fate, to a chaotic Morris dancing event, a rediscovered treasure map, and rumors of a vengeful mermaid haunting the coastline. The line between reality and local legends becomes increasingly blurred as they work to solve these puzzling mysteries.
