Sherlock Holmes star’s “must-watch” detective drama that’s “a cut above” lands new UK home

The UK will have a new place to watch the thriller series The Beast Must Die, starring Jared Harris and Cush Jumbo. The show, which first aired in 2021 and was created by Gaby Chiappe, centers around Frances Cairnes, played by Jumbo, a mother dealing with the loss of her son Martie in a tragic accident.

After the legal case is dismissed and Frances identifies who she thinks caused the accident, she pretends to be a writer to get close to his family and get her revenge.

Sebastian Harris, known for playing Professor Moriarty in the Sherlock Holmes movies, will play George Rattery, the primary suspect in Frances’ son’s death.
