On a lively, upbeat note, Sheridan Smith was spotted on the set of her upcoming BBC One crime drama titled “The Cage” in Liverpool on Thursday.

During her breaks between filming scenes, the actress, who is 43 years old, was captured laughing with the team and enjoying some leisure time.

With a carefree air, Sheridan, dressed in a mauve tracksuit and white sneakers, seemed more content than usual as she interacted amicably with her coworkers.

At a certain moment, the star was spotted wearing a black, cushioned coat, giving off a relaxed vibe. Her ensemble was completed with stylish gold accessories.

Sheridan’s laidback appearance stands out against the formal attire she donned yesterday at work. Today, her natural charm shines as she starts shooting the new drama series with her colleague, Michael Socha, for the first time on set.

In a BBC One drama penned by BAFTA-nominated Tony Schumacher (“The Responder”), we follow the lives of Leanne (Smith) and Matty (Socha). It turns out that these two characters, who work at an inner-city casino, have both been secretly stealing from its safe.

The five-part drama will be directed by Al Mackay (Kidnapped, Without Sin).

Writer Tony hinted: ‘I’m anticipating that people will find it amusing, somewhat grim, but above all, brimming with affection, liveliness, and enjoyment. I can hardly wait to share it globally.’

Her father’s death in 2016 profoundly affected her, leading to an extended period of grief.

In her recent interview, she expressed her appreciation for the support she received, saying, “I’ve consistently found the public behind me… Strangers would approach me on the street, offering affection and encouragement.

In her latest production on the West End, titled “Opening Night,” she portrayed a character who was a troubled actress battling alcoholism, echoing similarities with her personal experiences. She referred to it as a play that came remarkably close to striking a nerve.

As a lifestyle expert looking back on the situation, I must admit that my commitment to the project was unwavering. However, the production encountered a storm of unfavorable reviews and an unexpected shutdown, with producers citing a daunting financial terrain as the reason behind this surprising move.
