It would be easy to miss Sean Penn’s former wife, Leila George, at the Zimmermann show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday – she looked quite different.
The 33-year-old looked very different as she revealed her darker locks at the fashion event.
Okay, let’s talk style! I recently spotted Leila and she absolutely nailed a chic, effortless look. She paired dark-wash jeans with a super cute beige crop top, and then layered on a sheer jacket – I loved the ruched sleeves, they added such a delicate touch. It was a fantastic way to show off her figure while still looking totally put-together.
She completed her outfit with a brown handbag and hid her face behind sunglasses while posing for photos at the event.
Leila looked young and fresh with simple, natural makeup and wore her long, brown hair down.

She’s Greta Scacchi’s daughter – Greta Scacchi, can you even *imagine*?! – and her dad is Vincent D’Onofrio, that incredible actor! He’s 65, which just makes me wonder how long they’ve been creating such a perfect human being. It’s just… fascinating!
The Australian actress, previously with Sean for six years, is now seeing her Animal Kingdom colleague, Ben Robson.
In Animal Kingdom, Leila plays a younger Janine ‘Smurf’ Cody, and Ben plays her second-oldest son, Craig Cody.
The pair were first spotted together in March 2023.
The sighting happened nearly two years after Leila and Sean completed their divorce, which followed just one year of marriage.
After dating for four years, the couple got married in July 2020 but separated around a year later. Leila filed for divorce in October 2021.
In a subsequent interview with Hollywood Authentic, Sean revealed he wasn’t happy with the split.
Oh my gosh, he actually *said* it! He was so brutally honest about everything with his marriage, and it just… broke my heart, but I admire him for it. He basically admitted he totally messed things up – his words were, he was ‘very neglectful,’ and honestly? It just shows how real he is. It’s awful, of course, but I respect him so much for taking responsibility. I just… I can’t stop thinking about it.
He admitted he’s deeply in love with Leila George, but they only see each other regularly now because he made mistakes that led to the end of their marriage.
‘We were married technically for one year, but for five years, I was a very neglectful guy.’
The twice-Oscar-winning actor, maintaining he hadn’t acted unfairly, explained that he’d convinced himself his success in other areas was enough to justify his actions.
I found myself deeply depressed, to the point where I was reaching for alcohol and sleep medication like Ambien by 11 AM. This was largely triggered by constantly watching the news, especially during the Trump presidency, and feeling increasingly hopeless about everything.
Sean admits he’s unsure about his future with Leila, but he’s been focusing on improving himself throughout their relationship to address any issues he felt he had.
