She means business! Jodi Gordon looks chic in $1500 ensemble as she arrives at the Australian Women’s Weekly Health Summit in Sydney
As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for fashion and a deep appreciation for personal growth, I must say that Jodi Gordon is truly inspiring. Her transformation from a beloved actress to a mental health support worker is not just a career change, but a testament to her commitment towards making a difference in people’s lives.
Jodi Gordon looked effortlessly chic as she stepped out in Sydney on Saturday.
At the Australian Women’s Weekly Health Summit held at the Museum of Contemporary Art, the actress from ‘Neighbours’ sported more than a thousand dollars’ worth of stylish designer outfits upon her arrival.
In an eye-catching ensemble, the 39-year-old actress donned a stylish beige suit from the high-end Australian brand, Oroton, priced at approximately $429.
She completed the look with the brand’s chic ‘Wrap Blazer’ which sells for $600.
Jodi also matched her suit with the brand’s Sabine small shoulder bag, priced at $529.
She accessorised with a pair of white heels and wore sunglasses as she arrived to the event.
Instead of keeping her hair pulled back, Jodi showcased her long, brown tresses naturally, allowing her innate attractiveness to radiate using a makeup selection that emphasized her natural features.
She went to the Australian Women’s Weekly Health Summit as a member of the ‘mental health’ discussion group, sharing the stage with Jessica Rowe, Julie Goodwin, and Liz Dale on that occasion.
As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that the actress has recently disclosed her professional transition into becoming a mental health support worker for Sane Australia.
Originally recognized for portraying Elly Conway on Neighbours, Jodi has been in the limelight, spending more than half her life before cameras and makeup artists. However, nowadays, she devotes four days of her week to the mental health sector.
However, her commitment to mental health doesn’t stop there.
Jodi is additionally studying for a Bachelor’s degree in counseling and communication at Torrens University in Sydney, learning more about the profound impact words can have on mental well-being.
“Jodi mentioned that transitioning into a career in mental health is a significant shift for her,” said Stellar.
It’s amusing that my initial experience with acting auditions was for Home And Away, and my first corporate interview was for a position at Sane. I was absolutely thrilled when I landed those roles.
In my role as a dedicated helper, I find myself answering calls, little do they know, behind this compassionate voice lies a Logie Award-winning actress, whose grace once adorned the runways of Milan.
‘This is what I love about Sane. Because it’s a telehealth service, I’m just Jodi,’ she explained.
“I’m simply engaging in a conversation, posing queries such as ‘How is your day going? Are there any challenges you’re facing?’ I appreciate the sense of privacy it provides.”
Jodi’s new role at Sane Australia is more than just a job; it’s a mission.
Working for a company that actively challenges the negative perceptions about mental health is truly a privilege. Being part of an advocacy environment feels fantastic. Since I’ve personally encountered discrimination and stigma related to mental health, my work holds significant meaning and purpose.
