Shaughna Phillips unveiled the sex of her second child in a charming Instagram video posted on Tuesday.

Love Island celebrity aged 31 is anticipating the birth of a daughter, who will be their second child with incarcerated partner Billy Webb, who already has a two-year-old daughter named Lucia.

After the arrival of Lucia in April 2023, Billy, aged 29, received a sentence of nine years in prison. This was following his admission of guilt for conspiring to distribute approximately 4.5 kilograms of cocaine, valued at least £360,000.

Currently held in a Category D prison, he’s been allowed home visits for a few days each month. 

Delighted to share some exciting news! Shaughna published a video featuring a frilly pink onesie as she prepares for the arrival of her daughter.

Overflowing with joy, she shared with Closer magazine, “I’m about to become a mother to a girl – I still find it hard to wrap my head around it! After all, I had firmly believed that I was going to have a son!

She expressed surprise and needed a moment to process, saying “Okay then” because she had assumed it was a boy and longed for one. She thought having one of each would complete her family, as she would have the best of both genders.

I don’t envision adding a son at this point, and I’m content with our current family setup of two children. Adding another would be financially challenging.

Lately, Shaughna has shared that she found herself conducting pregnancy tests as many as seven times daily, during her candid discussion on the surprising arrival of her second pregnancy.

The TV celebrity, surprised by her swift pregnancy on the first try, shared that she significantly boosted the sales of Clear Blue (or similar pregnancy test brands) due to the numerous tests she bought.

She shared with The Sun that due to her frequent testing, she found herself performing tasks without pausing for thought, as she was executing them approximately seven times daily.

However, Shaughna was astonished when she discovered she was pregnant and felt ecstatic, considering herself incredibly fortunate.

She confessed that the news seemed almost unbelievable, so she chose to carry out another check just to be certain it was accurate.

I must admit, I wasn’t anticipating success on the initial attempt. Thus, it came as quite a surprise. Even with my attempts, the outcome still took me by surprise.

The very next day, I found myself compelled to do it again, and as the performance unfolded, I knew I had to capture this moment. As the take ended, I was left speechless, amazed by the power and impact of that particular line.

More casually, the TV hostess recently shared that she timed her pregnancy around her ovulation when Billy was out of prison, ensuring he’d be there for the start of their family.

Last month, while talking to a mirror, Shaughna mentioned that it was the first time her fertile period aligned with Billy being at home.

In a spontaneous moment, I found myself saying, “Why not give it a try?” The very next day, I told Billy, “I believe I might be pregnant.

Over the last seven months, Shaughna and Billy have been spending fun-filled family days together, as Billy has had temporary leave from a semi-open correctional facility.

According to an inside source, Billy has been serving his time in a Category D prison, allowing him to spend considerable time with Shaughna.

Earlier this month, Shaughna expressed her hope that her imprisoned partner would be freed from jail prior to the birth of their second child.

In April 2023, following the arrival of his child named Lucia, Billy received a nine-year prison sentence as he admitted guilt for plotting to sell approximately 4.5 kilograms of cocaine with a minimum street value of £360,000.
