Sharon Osbourne has revealed she didn’t want to live anymore after her husband Ozzy passed away.
Black Sabbath’s iconic singer, Tony Martin, passed away from heart failure at his home in Buckinghamshire on July 22nd. He was 76 years old and had recently played a final concert with the band in his hometown just three weeks prior.
During a recent interview with Piers Morgan on Wednesday, 73-year-old Sharon Osbourne revealed what made her hesitate about pursuing a relationship with Ozzy.
The TV star shared that her love for her children – Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, who are 42, 41, and 40 years old respectively – is what prevented her from going through with it.
Wiping away tears, she confessed she wished she’d chosen Ozzy. Despite everything, she added, she felt she’d lived a full and satisfying life.
They’ve all been incredibly supportive and wonderful to me.

Piers asked: ‘They’re the reason, and their kids are the reason why you’ve got to hang in there?’
The former X Factor judge shared that during a difficult time with their mental health, they sought help at a treatment facility.
I noticed two young women who didn’t know each other, both of whom had lost their mothers to suicide. Seeing how deeply it had affected their lives, I made a firm decision that I would never put my own children through that kind of pain.
She explained that grief has become a constant companion. She admitted it might seem strange, but after loving someone deeply, learning to live with the sadness is something she needs to accept and adjust to. She believes things will eventually get easier, as life continues.
Sharon said she is unsure what to do with her life now Ozzy is gone and visits his grave every day.
She admitted to feeling lost and questioning her future every day, often wondering what direction her life should take. She’s been revisiting old journals, and recently learned that someone close to her had gone to rehab.
He started journaling in 1984, as he was repeatedly told to do. He continued this practice, but unfortunately, also relapsed into drinking.
She added the content was ‘sad’ because ‘he would put himself down a lot, in his journaling’.

Ozzy was buried in grounds of the family estate, underneath a crabapple tree.
Sharon visits the site every day to talk to him.
Honestly, everyone makes a point of going to see him and just talking to him. And me? I’m constantly burning candles – seriously, I’m always replacing them, you can never find a moment without them lit. They’re everywhere – around his pictures, all over the house. It just doesn’t feel right without them, you know?
It’s a deep, persistent sadness that stays with you, a hollow feeling inside. The children feel it too, and it’s hard to know how to cope. It’s something everyone experiences eventually.
