Sharon Osbourne spent her first Valentine’s Day since her husband Ozzy’s passing, and she shared a very sad message with her fans.
The 73-year-old businesswoman fondly remembered her husband, the late Black Sabbath singer, as her one true love, seven months after his death.
Sharon shared a touching Instagram post with a photo of her and her partner holding hands. She wrote ‘Forever Valentine’ and included an infinity symbol emoji in the caption.
Ozzy tragically died of heart failure at his Buckinghamshire home on in July last year, aged 76.
Earlier this month, Sharon was at the Universal Music Group afterparty for the 2026 Grammy Awards, accompanied by her children Jack and Kelly. She had become emotional during the ceremony while a tribute to Ozzy was being presented.
The family went to the afterparty following the moving tribute to the rock star at the Grammys, which had clearly touched them deeply.
The broadcast honored his life with a moving tribute featuring a performance of his famous song ‘War Pigs’ by Post Malone, along with musicians Slash, Duff McKagan, Chad Smith, and Andrew Watt.
Standing in the audience, the Osbourne family couldn’t hold back tears as the music swelled.
Kelly looked deeply upset, and Sharon was wiping away tears beside her. Jack, meanwhile, stared straight ahead, clearly struggling to stay calm.
It was clear the three of them were deeply saddened, their faces showing how much the tribute affected them. Even though Kelly admitted she’d prepared herself emotionally while on the red carpet, their grief was still obvious.
She shared on the Grammy’s red carpet livestream that she was overwhelmed with emotion, saying it was impossible to put her feelings into words.
It’s incredibly moving to see how much his friends and the community care for him, and how deserving he is of that love. It’s going to be a very emotional moment.
Before the event, Kelly shared that losing her father was the most difficult experience of her life. She also talked about the small, everyday things she does to remember him.
Lindsay was supported by her fiancé, Sid Wilson, and their three-year-old son, Sidney, at the event. She told PEOPLE that she was still struggling with a very difficult experience. ‘I’m not going to pretend everything is okay,’ she admitted. ‘This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through.’
I’m so happy to have my partner, my beautiful baby, and my incredibly close family. We’ve always been tight, but we’ve grown even closer recently.
It’s common for people to initially claim they’re doing well, even months after losing someone they care about, but the truth is often much harder.
Kelly shared how she honors Ozzy’s memory by always lighting a candle and leaving an empty seat at her table. She also wears a special locket, fondly remembering him as ‘one of the greatest men to ever live’.
It’s something incredibly personal I keep close – tucked right under my dress. It’s a picture of him, and my little one opens it every single day, sending him a kiss and saying ‘hi, Papa!’ It’s the sweetest thing. And honestly, whenever I glance at the clock and it says 11:11, I just know it’s him reaching out to me. It feels like a little message, and it means the world to me.
