Sharon Osbourne is gradually recovering from the loss of her husband, Ozzy, and is being supported by several of her celebrity friends.
The 73-year-old America’s Got Talent star has been candid about her sadness following the death of the Black Sabbath singer, who passed away from heart failure in July.
Sharon appeared happier and healthier while attending a screening of Paul McCartney’s new Prime Video film, Man On The Run, on Wednesday to support her friend.
Sharon seemed cheerful as she stood with Paul McCartney, the famous Beatle, to celebrate his new movie, Man On The Run, which is available on Prime Video.
Ozzy Osbourne often credited The Beatles with inspiring him to become a musician, and just a month before he passed away, he mentioned that collaborating with Paul McCartney would have been a dream come true.
The rocker also covered The Beatles’ 1965 track In My Life in his 2005 album Prince Of Darkness.
Ozzy and Paul first connected in 2001 behind the scenes at the Howard Stern show. Ozzy immediately rushed over to greet Paul, excitedly telling him it had always been a dream of his to meet him.
Paul documented his experiences in a post-9/11 New York in his film, The Love We Make, showing the city’s recovery.
In a heartwarming exchange, Ozzy told Paul it was a dream come true to finally meet him, explaining that Paul’s band inspired him to become a musician.
Ozzy Osbourne has spoken about meeting Paul McCartney, describing himself as a huge Beatles fan. On his family’s podcast, The Osbournes, he said meeting McCartney felt like meeting a divine figure and that McCartney was a genuinely kind person.
They reunited in 2008 when Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne hosted the Brit Awards. Paul performed at the show, and he later said it was his most memorable experience.
Ozzy tragically died of heart failure at his Buckinghamshire home on in July last year, aged 76.
Oh my gosh, it was just a few weeks ago! I was absolutely losing it seeing Sharon with Jack and Kelly at that Universal Music Group afterparty for the 2026 Grammys. It was so heartbreaking – she completely fell apart during the show when they honored Ozzy. Seriously, it was a tough night, but seeing her kids there for her meant everything. I just adore their family!
Earlier this month, Sharon also marked her first Valentine’s Day since Ozzy’s passing
The family went to the afterparty following the moving tribute to the rock legend at the Grammys, which had clearly touched them deeply.
The tribute to him included a powerful performance of his famous Black Sabbath song, ‘War Pigs,’ played by Post Malone, Slash, Duff McKagan, Chad Smith, and Andrew Watt.
Standing in the audience, the Osbourne family couldn’t hold back tears as the music swelled.
Kelly looked deeply upset, and Sharon was wiping away tears beside her. Jack, meanwhile, stared straight ahead, clearly struggling to stay calm.
It was clear the three of them were deeply saddened, their faces showing how much the tribute affected them. Kelly admitted she had prepared herself emotionally while on the red carpet, knowing this moment was coming.
She told the live Grammy’s red carpet broadcast that she couldn’t put her feelings into words.
It’s going to be a very emotional experience for him to see his friends and the community show him so much love and appreciation, especially because he truly deserves it.
Before the event, Kelly shared that losing her father was the most difficult experience of her life. She also talked about the small, everyday things she does to remember him.
Lindsay was supported by her fiancé, Sid Wilson, and their three-year-old son, Sidney, at the event. She told PEOPLE that she was still struggling with the experience. ‘I’m not going to pretend everything is okay, because it isn’t,’ she admitted. ‘This has been the most difficult thing I’ve ever gone through.’
Honestly, I’m just so complete right now. I’ve got the most amazing partner, and our little one is just… perfect. But what really gets me is my family. I always thought my mom, my brother, and I were super close, practically inseparable. But then something incredible happened, and we connected on a whole new level. It’s like we found an even deeper bond, and it means the world to me!
It’s common for people to put on a brave face and say they’re doing well, even months after losing someone they care about, but the truth is, they’re often still struggling.
Kelly shared how she honors Ozzy’s memory by always lighting a candle and leaving an empty seat at her table. She also wears a special locket, describing him as ‘one of the greatest men to ever live’.
She explained that she keeps a photograph of her husband hidden under her dress. Their child opens it and kisses it daily, saying hello to their father. She also believes that whenever she sees 11:11 on the clock, it’s a sign from him.
