As a devoted follower of both Coldplay and Shane Warne, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and admiration for the beautiful tribute that Chris Martin dedicated to my late hero at their Melbourne concert. Having witnessed the incredible bond between these two exceptional individuals, I can only imagine the emotional rollercoaster that Brooke Warne must have experienced during the performance.

Brooke Warne expresses gratitude on her social media platform for the heartfelt homage that Coldplay paid to her deceased father, Shane Warne.

I, as a devoted fan, took to my stories last night to post videos and snapshots from the electrifying Brit rockers’ inaugural performance at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium. (Brooke, 27, was the one who did this.)

At a packed concert, Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin dedicated their popular song “Sparks” to the deceased cricket player.

Martin, aged 47, who is a good friend of the King of Spin, suggested, “Let’s dedicate this to Shane and his loved ones.

Expressing a heartfelt sentiment, he added, “Dear departed one, we long for your presence. Whenever we visit Melbourne, memories of our joyful times together with Shane and the entire Warne clan would resurface.

‘I don’t want to talk about it too much or I’ll start to cry.’

Later on, Brooke honored the occasion by posting a picture on her Instagram stories where she’s seen together with her brother Jackson (age 25) and her mom’s former partner, Simone Callahan (aged 54).

Also featured in the picture was Jackson’s girlfriend, Kiah Broadsmith, 24.

‘What a night,’ Brooke wrote in the caption.

‘Thank you for all the kind messages from Chris’ amazing tribute so special.’

Brooke additionally utilized the post as a platform to laud her 22-year-old sister Summer, as well as Alex Heath, the rising star in acting whom Summer is dating.

As a die-hard Coldplay enthusiast (and proud wearer of my tour tee), I couldn’t resist sharing some jaw-dropping moments from their latest concert on my last post, Brooke!

Back in 2016, I found myself making some unforgettable memories when I shared the stage with my pals Martin and Coldplay at their concert in Melbourne. That’s right; as a lifestyle expert who enjoys a good mix of sports and music, this was an incredible experience that had everyone talking!

The cricketer surprised fans with an unannounced guest spot in the set.

Shane accompanied the band on harmonica as they belted out their popular tune Don’t Panic.

After my dear friend Shane’s passing, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin composed a heartfelt song in his honor. Here’s my rendition of that poignant tribute:

Last November, during their unique, one-time concert in Western Australia, Martin initially sang a tribute song for Warne in Perth.

During his emotional rendition, Martin conveyed, ‘Friendships ebb and flow, but it’s a joy to meet certain individuals. If granted a second chance, I’d relive all those moments. Thanks for everything, Shane.’

At the concert, Warne’s daughter, Summer (age 23), expressed gratitude towards the band on Instagram, acknowledging they had paid tribute to her father.

‘The most amazing song dedicated to Dad. Thank you Chris, so beautiful,’ she wrote.

The song’s verses disclose the story of when Martin encountered Warne in an elevator, as well as playfully acknowledging his fondness for cigarettes and quick meals.

At Shane’s memorial service in March 2022, Chris Martin delivered an emotionally poignant version of Coldplay’s song “Yellow.

Legendary cricketer Shane Warne passed away due to natural causes, while he was vacationing with friends on the Thai island of Koh Samui on March 4, 2022.

Previously, the retired leg spinner had confided that Chris approached him when he was struggling with his songwriting.

The pair had been close friends since meeting in a hotel elevator in 2001,

Martin made an appearance in the film titled “Shane,” which is a documentary on the life of the sports icon, premiered in January 2022.

Over the weekend, Coldplay carried on their Music of the Spheres tour in Australia with two additional sold-out shows in Melbourne.

The band will then head to Sydney to play four sold out shows at Accor Stadium.
