Shane Warne’s Family Shares Heartwarming Easter Moments After Loss

Over the Easter holiday, the offspring of the late cricketing legend Shane Warne gathered with his mother, Simone Callahan, for a heartwarming reunion.

In a heartwarming display on social media, the eldest sibling, Brooke Warne (age 27), shared a picture featuring her siblings, Summer Warne (age 22) and Jackson Warne (age 25), along with their mom (age 54), all embraced in a group hug.

Only Jackson showed his face in the black and white snap, as the others were gathered in his arms.

The scene seemed to have been snapped when the family was in a state of leisure, as all the females could be seen wearing nightclothes.

Brooke wished everyone a Happy Easter with a pair of bunny symbols and heart emoticons on her Instagram post,” or simply, “On Instagram, Brooke sent Easter greetings accompanied by two bunnies and two hearts.

Legendary spin bowler Shane Warne passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack at age 52 on March 4, 2022, during his stay at an upscale villa located on the beautiful Thai vacation island of Koh Samui.

He shared his three children with his ex-wife Simone Callahan. 

After his son Jackson honored his father in a unique manner compared to his older sister Brooke, by celebrating the third anniversary of Shane’s death last month.

Jackson honored his beloved cricket hero father by arranging a poker gathering, an activity Warne was fond of.

Ever since Dad’s gone, I’ve been continuing our old routines – only now, it feels like he’s merely absent instead of present,” Jackson shared with The Herald Sun.

Despite my continued enjoyment for poker, gym workouts, and watching sports, the absence of him is becoming more pronounced this year compared to previous ones.

‘Maybe that’s because it’s been three years and I’m definitely starting to miss him.’

Additionally, Brooke paid an emotional homage to the special day by posting a collection of tender photographs on social media platforms, depicting cherished moments she spent with her esteemed sportsman father.

As an ardent admirer, I’ve come across some extraordinary photos that have left me awestruck! One unique snapshot reveals the heartwarming moment when Warne gently held a beaming newborn Brooke. In another captivating image, they both posed elegantly against a picturesque seaside backdrop.

Brooke captioned the gallery with some emotional words.

It’s been three years since your absence, Dad. I long for the moments we shared over trivial matters, finding joy in each other’s company, and there are many things I wish I could share with you now,” she expressed.

‘I know you’re always with us, I love you. I miss you every day.’

Brother Jackson, along with Brendan Fevola, Tammy Hembrow, and Bec Judd, all responded with love heart emojis to a particular post.

Warne shared his three children with his ex-wife Simone Callahan: Brooke, Jackson, and Summer.

The Shane Warne Legacy, which provides free heart tests, was founded by the three siblings.

Warne, during his career from 1992 to 2007, is renowned as one of the greatest cricketers ever, having taken 708 Test wickets with an average of 25.41 in a total of 145 matches.
