Shakira CONFIRMS she is bringing record-breaking tour to the UK as she confesses Beyoncé inspired series of stadium shows

Shakira has confirmed she is bringing her record-breaking tour to the UK after months of rumours. 

Shakira, known for her hit “The Hips Don’t Lie,” is now touring across North America as part of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour. The renowned artist is soaring to new peaks in her professional journey.

In terms of ticket sales and box office earnings, the current leading female tour of 2025 surpasses both those of Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, making it the biggest tour by a female artist this year to date.

And Shakira has now revealed it was Queen B herself who inspired her series of stadium shows. 

She told The Sun that UK shows are planned, then expressed to the audience in Miami, “To witness such a lively crowd here is a dream for me. It feels unreal.

Previously, when I visited Hard Rock Stadium, I witnessed Beyonce’s performance. It left me musing, “What a marvelous dream it would be if I could perform here someday.

Wow, I can hardly believe it – tonight, I find myself gracing not one but two epic stadiums! Honestly, you folks are simply extraordinary; you’ve got to be the cream of the crop when it comes to audiences. Every single one of you plays a part in making my wildest dreams a reality.

Originally set to perform an arena tour, her venues were upgraded to meet the sensational demand. 

Shakira has spared no effort in crafting the grandest spectacle imaginable, featuring an impressive 14 costumes, stunning visuals, and notable guest appearances.

The performance starts by displaying a digital representation of the artist, who’s been portrayed as having only one arm, arising from a heap of sand and repairing itself. This scene is symbolic of some challenging periods she has experienced in her private life.

Due to structural issues that didn’t meet the required standards, identified by city inspectors, she was unable to perform in Washington DC at Nationals Park for the welcome event of WorldPride, as reported by TMZ.

I was absolutely crushed when I saw the announcement that my beloved Shakira wouldn’t be able to perform at Nationals Park on our planned date of May 31st. It turns out there were some complications with her previous show in Boston that delayed her full tour production, preventing it from making it to Washington, D.C. in time for the concert. I can hardly wait for a new date to be announced so I can dance the night away with Shakira once more!

The largest global celebration for the LGBTQ+ community, known as WorldPride, will commence the globally acknowledged Pride Month in June.

According to TMZ, Shakira expressed her disappointment by stating, “I’ve eagerly been looking forward to joining my fans in Washington D.C. and Boston, and my team and I have worked hard to make it happen. Unfortunately, at this moment, it’s not within our control whether these shows can take place. I’m deeply saddened that we couldn’t perform as planned this time.

‘I promise that I will do everything in my power to be with you as soon as I can.’

At the ballpark, they made clear to ticket holders that if your tickets were bought from Ticketmaster or Nationals.com, refunds will be processed automatically – there’s no need for you to do anything else.

After the artist known for “Whenever, Wherever” had to postpone two consecutive performances that were set in Boston’s Fenway Park last month.
