Hader lamented that Alphabet Streets, a cherished part of the Palisades he considered its core, no longer exists. The entire neighborhood has vanished, according to him.

In 2019, the actor and screenwriter acquired a house; this was a year following his separation from his former wife, movie director Maggie Carey, with whom he has three daughters.

This two-storey residence boasts five bedrooms, an office space, as well as four complete baths and two partial baths.
