Shahs Of Sunset star, 53, files for divorce from her husband… 10 years after meeting on Tinder

Mercedes Javid, known for her role on the reality show Shahs of Sunset, has filed for divorce from her husband, Tommy Feight, after seven years of marriage.

According to TMZ, the 53-year-old reality TV star filed for divorce on Friday in Los Angeles, stating that they and their spouse have irreconcilable differences.

The raven-haired personality from Tehran claimed the date of separation was October 17.

MJ and Tommy have a six-year-old son named Shams. MJ is requesting full custody of Shams but is willing to allow Tommy to have regular visits with their son.

A hearing in the divorce has been scheduled for December 18.

They first connected on the dating app Tinder in 2015, got engaged the following year, and were married in Los Angeles in April 2018.

Before she got married she talked about her relationship with Tommy.

She said they got engaged after a year of dating, but then faced a lot of challenges with their families and unexpected difficulties in life.

My dad’s health took a bad turn, so Tommy and I decided to move in together. Going through such a difficult time actually brought us closer, and when life gets really challenging, you focus on supporting each other and staying positive. It just wasn’t a time for arguing – we needed to be grateful for each other and get through it together.

‘That makes me even more excited to be engaged and planning a wedding,’ she added.

Their engagement and wedding were featured on her Bravo show Shahs of Sunset.

The actress wore a custom-made dress by designer Pedram and requested a very revealing neckline. She explained she simply wanted to feel beautiful.

Vida’s mother reportedly criticized her makeup, claiming it made her look Chinese. Reza Farahan, known for his strong principles, commented that Vida was being true to herself as she publicly voiced her disapproval of the makeup artist.

Vida revealed during confession that she’s worked in makeup for three decades, and warned people they’d be wise to heed her advice. Meanwhile, MJ expressed regret over her mother’s actions.

‘Don’t talk s*** to my people ever,’ MJ barked at her mother. 

Pedram fixed the dress an hour before the wedding as Vida was locked out of the room.

Finally allowed inside, she gazed at her daughter, resplendent in her dress. “Very beautiful. I like it,” Vida said.
