Shadows of Doubt Walks the Streets of a Procedurally-Generated City this September

As a seasoned detective with years of experience under my trench coat, I can hardly contain my excitement for Fireshine Games and ColePowered Games’ upcoming masterpiece, Shadows of Doubt. Having spent countless hours poring over crime scenes, interrogating suspects, and navigating the murky underbelly of society, this immersive detective sim promises to deliver a level of immersion that I’ve yet to encounter in the genre.

According to recent announcements, Shadows of Doubt, an engaging detective simulation game developed by both Fireshine Games and ColePowered Games, is set to release in September this year.

In Shadows of Doubt, you’re given the chance to roam around a detailed sci-fi noir urban landscape, interacting with unique characters who each have their own living quarters, jobs, and daily lives. Your mission is to hunt down a serial killer. To catch the perpetrator, you must collect evidence, question suspects, and solve the case in a metropolis where anyone could potentially be involved.

Luckily, as a detective, you’re equipped with all necessary tools for your work. You can analyze fingerprints, examine call logs, access private emails, offer incentives to individuals, monitor CCTV footage, open locked doors, break down barricades, and disrupt security systems at will. Each case offers several resolutions, set in diverse procedurally-generated urban landscapes.

On the 26th of September, Shadows of Doubt is set to debut on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers (PC). A physical version for both Xbox and PlayStation 5 will become available at a later date.
