Viva Games Studios, which is part of Scopely and known for popular games like Guns at Dawn and Soccer Star, has begun early access for its new RPG, Shadowborn. The arcade-style game is now available on Android and iOS devices.

Shadowborn is a quick and exciting RPG with a colorful world that blends charming visuals with darker themes. You’ll choose from different character classes, mix and match abilities using the game’s class system, and customize your skills through a detailed skill tree to overcome challenging bosses and complete stealth-based missions.

The game offers both tranquil scenes, like unicorns relaxing in bright meadows, and intense battles with hordes of enemies in dark forests. Luckily, a quick travel system helps you explore the small, beautifully crafted map without having to repeatedly walk the same paths.

I’m really looking forward to the diverse class options, like Swiftblade, Enchanter, Dark Knight, and Shadow Mage – each one offers unique gameplay and combat. Plus, you can earn special heirlooms and eventually retire your characters. You can also watch replays of your battles to discover hidden achievements, learn more about the game’s story, and relive incredible final moments.

The game seems really fun and exciting! Its quick, 3-4 minute matches, arcade-style action with dual-stick controls, new challenges, different character classes, and cool gear all look great.
