Viva Games Studios, which is part of Scopely and known for games like Guns at Dawn and Soccer Star, has released an early access version of its new arcade-style RPG, Shadowborn. The game is now available to download on Android and iOS devices.

Shadowborn is a quick and exciting RPG with an arcade feel, blending a charming world with dark elements. You’ll choose from different character classes, mix and match skills using the class-combining system, and customize your abilities through the skill tree to overcome challenging bosses and complete stealth-based missions.

The game offers both tranquil scenes – imagine unicorns relaxing in bright, open meadows – and intense battles with hordes of enemies lurking in dark forests. Thankfully, a quick travel system helps you get around the small, beautifully designed map without having to repeatedly retrace your steps.

I’m really looking forward to the diverse class options, including Swiftblade, Enchanter, Dark Knight, and Shadow Mage – each with unique abilities and ways to fight. Plus, you can earn special heirlooms and eventually retire your characters. You can even watch replays of your battles to discover hidden achievements, learn more about the game’s story, and relive awesome final moments.

This game looks really good and should be a lot of fun! It features fast-paced, arcade-style action with simple dual-stick controls, new challenges, different character classes, and plenty of equipment to collect. It has a similar vibe to *Diablo*, and I’m excited to play it.
