Sexyy Red Faces $5 Million Lawsuit Over Shocking Social Media Violence Claims!

Red (the rapper known as Sexyy Red) is facing a legal action from her grandchild’s grandmother, who claims that Red encouraged her social media followers to harass her.

In a post on social media, the artist known as ‘Pound Town,’ whose real name is Janae Wherry, urged her followers to forcefully enter Nicole Barnes’ house and commit violent acts against the grandmother, according to a lawsuit obtained by DailyMail.com.

2024, on December 3rd, Barnes – the grandmother of one of the rapper’s kids – discovered that he had posted his grandmother’s address and a photo of her house on Facebook with the intention of inciting violence, as indicated in the court documents.

As a lifestyle advisor, I find myself compelled to address recent rumors surrounding my personal life. It has been alleged that there were romantic ties between me and Drake. However, a legal claim filed this week asserts that I encouraged my followers to physically harm an individual named Barnes, who is 51 years old. I want to make it clear that I do not condone or encourage any form of violence towards anyone. Peace and harmony are essential pillars of the lifestyle advice I offer.

The lawsuit filed against Sexyy Red accuses them of assault, plus both intentional and negligent causing of emotional harm. It also portrays a turmoil within the female relatives that mirrors the sensational plotlines often seen on the Jerry Springer Show.

Barnes asked the court for a judgement and $5 million in damages.

Due to concerns about her safety stemming from the alleged abuse, Barnes was forced to leave her residence in Hazelwood, Missouri, as stated in the records.

Currently, Barnes is having difficulty locating a new residence that is reasonably priced, as he has vacated the property which was recently publicized by the rapper.

Steven Weaver, Barnes’ lawyer, informed St. Louis Post-Dispatch that Sexyy Red and her child’s father are having disagreements, which seem to be unrelated to my client.

We attempted to handle it casually, considering it a jest initially. However, it turned out that their lawyers were mistaken about its jokester nature. Now, they’re discovering that it isn’t a joke after all.

According to Weaver, his client submitted a police report when the alleged incident occurred, and they’ve been living in persistent apprehension since then.

He said Barnes even had to go to therapy for the emotional distress the situation has caused her.

DailyMail.com contacted Sexyy Red’s spokesperson for comment.

On a previous occasion, this rapper has found herself embroiled in legal issues, as she was taken into custody at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey back in June of 2024.

A person from St. Louis, originally spotted on security footage, was involved in a major brawl within the airport premises.

At the time, police told TMZ she and her companions got into a brawl with another group.

The video acquired by the publication depicted Sexyy Red walking into view while a group of men were scuffling on the ground below.

Next, she grasped a metallic pole and moved it about, seemingly without touching the gathering. Later, she was forcibly separated from the conflict and tumbled onto the ground.

After airport security intervened the ‘U My Everything’ hitmaker and a few others were arrested.

After the event, she seemed to speak up for the first time, posting a video: “Morning everyone, I’ve just stepped out.

She additionally wrote: ‘If you were involved in the incident at the airport, kindly direct message me so I can provide a new phone for you.’

According to reports from the Port Authority Police, the rapper was taken into custody for creating a disturbance, while some other individuals who participated in a physical altercion were charged with assault.

The alleged victims went to the hospital for minor injuries.

Sexyy Red is known for her raunchy lyrics and straight to-the-point manner of speaking.

The initial melody she composed, titled ‘Ah Thousand Jugs’, emerged from an unusual source of creativity since it served as a rebuke towards her unfaithful partner.

To her surprise he liked it and inspired her to record it properly in 2018.

But her biggest hit has come much more recently, with Pound Town in 2023.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself at the center of a buzzing whirlwind when my song’s bluntly explicit verses caught the eyes and ears of numerous industry figures – notably, the enigmatic Nicki Minaj, best known for her hit “Anaconda.

In May 2023, Nicki Minaj consented to collaborate on a remixed version of the track, marking Sexyy Red’s initial appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and reaching position 66 as its peak.

In August, she announced the reintroduction of her Northside Princess beauty line, which includes somewhat explicit name choices.

As a fervent admirer, I was taken aback when she daringly titled her glosses with unconventional names such as ‘Gonorrhea’, ‘Blue Balls’, and even a subtle nod towards an intimate moment during menstruation.

At her Northside Princess base, the rapper confidently perched on a table, dressed in a black see-through blouse, coordinating bicycle shorts, and high heels.

In her hometown, Sexyy Red definitely attracted attention upon launching her lip gloss line around 2019-2020, and she’s now leveraging her growing popularity to sell the updated versions of these products.
