Actor Turturro has once again taken on the character of Irving, appearing in the second installment of the popular Apple TV+ series “Severance”. The show focuses on employees at the enigmatic Lumon Industries, where their work and personal memories have been segregated.

The fresh season debuted in January, outperforming Ted Lasso as the streamer’s most viewed premiere episode.

Matt Cherniss, who’s in charge of programming at Apple TV+, expressed his excitement, saying, “The series has captivated audiences globally, and we eagerly anticipate more people immersing themselves in the skillfully crafted plot developments as the season progresses.

Critics have largely praised season two, with an impressive 95% positive rating on the review platform Rotten Tomatoes based on more than 200 individual appraisals.

As a dedicated gamer, I’d say “The second season of ‘Severance’ skillfully balances its deep character exploration and unsettling dreamscape, making the experience of cognitive dissonance an exhilarating brain-bender.

The show got a green light for a third season on the day following its season two finale in March. Later, director Ben Stiller reassured viewers that the gap between seasons wouldn’t be as extensive as the three years that passed between seasons one and two.

As a devoted fan, I can assure you that I won’t be holding my breath for three long years. Instead, eager anticipation fills me as we’re on the verge of unveiling our plans, and it might not be too far off!

Severance seasons 1-2 are streaming now on Apple TV+.
