As a longtime gamer with a penchant for unique and captivating RPGs, I can’t help but feel a pang of nostalgia upon hearing about the impending shutdown of Seven Mortal Sins X-TASY. This game, with its seductive female characters and strategy-based Gacha mechanics, was an exciting addition to my gaming library when it launched last year.

USERJOY Technology Co., Ltd. has revealed that their captivating strategy role-playing game (SRPG), Seven Mortal Sins X-TASY, will cease operations on December 18, 2024. This decision comes after the termination of its Japanese version last year on September 27.

The game will end service this December, following the shutdown of the JP version a year ago

On April 26, 2022, the globally released game titled “Seven Mortal Sins X-TASY” began its run. This strategy-based Gacha RPG had a pre-registration period that started on March 28, 2022. The game is set in the same universe as “Demon Worship Project”, and it showcases an array of alluring female characters. It draws inspiration from the “Seven Mortal Sins” intellectual property.

Regrettably, the operation team has shared via X (previously known as Twitter) and their main site that the game server along with all related activities will end on December 18, 2024. The game will no longer be available across platforms starting from November 26, after the discontinuation of the payment function that was shut down yesterday. Lastly, the official game website and fan page are scheduled to close on January 17, 2025.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to continue playing this game past December 18. This is a pity since the in-game transactions have been halted, meaning you can no longer unlock all the characters. However, there’s some positive news! If you also play The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War, as per USERJOY‘s announcement, you’ll receive in-game rewards and any remaining points from your purchases in Seven Mortal Sins X-TASY will be transferred over.
