Serena Williams turned up the heat while enjoying a swanky tropical getaway.

On Monday, the 43-year-old ex-tennis player posted a series of photos on Instagram showcasing her stunning abs while enjoying some fun in the sun.

23-time Grand Slam champion was spotted donning a stylish, green-and-white leaf-patterned bikini, complemented by linen trousers and a headband, exuding an air of nonchalance and self-assurance as she relaxed by the pool.

Additionally, she posted an unretouched collection from her photo session where she confidently showcased her toned physique. The ex-athlete wrote in the caption, “Raw, authentic charm during golden hour #selflove.

Towards the end of the day, she embraced her divine side and struck poses in a bold leopard-print swimsuit featuring alluring cutouts and intricate straps, accompanied by her little daughter Adira, who is 18 months old, in the ocean.

Her post appears following an instance where she made a response, indirectly, to her former partner Drake. This was done through a surprise appearance during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl performance. During this concert, Lamar performed his song Not Like Us – a track that could be considered a diss towards the Canadian artist. Towards the end of the 13-minute set, Williams was seen performing a dance move known as Crip Walking.

The “Crip Walk” or “C-Walk” is a type of dancing that started back in the 1970s, originally showcased by some of the founding members of the Crips.

The God’s Plan hitmaker, 38, and the tennis icon were first romantically linked in 2011. 

Before Serena Williams got married to Alexis Ohanian, who is the father of her two daughters, including Olympia, seven years old, rumors circulated about a potential relationship between her and Drake, causing much excitement among fans.

In 2011, the rapper was often seen at her tennis matches, which further ignited rumors. He also made things more intriguing by sending a playful tweet directed towards the tennis player.

He wrote then, ‘@SerenaWilliams I am eagerly anticipating our match this weekend, where I hope to challenge you and bring out a good sweat from you…’

Four years after its release, the artist behind Hotline Bling made an appearance at New York Fashion Week 2015. He sat prominently alongside Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue Magazine, showing his support for the designer from Saginaw, Michigan.

Initially, reliable sources close to them revealed that Serena and Drake had dated at some point in the past. However, it seems they are no longer a couple now.

According to a source, Serena had a brief relationship with Drake approximately in 2011. Despite their romance not lasting, they’ve managed to maintain a friendship ever since.

At that point, the source acknowledged that he had frequently accompanied her to several tournaments, such as Wimbledon in July, during which he was seated beside her sister Venus Williams in her spectator area.

They mostly maintained their relationship private until they made it public by announcing their engagement on December 29, 2016.

In just under a year’s time, on September 1, 2017, they joyfully welcomed their firstborn, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., into the world. A few short months later, they exchanged wedding vows in a grand ceremony that took place on November 16, 2017.

In August 2023, the pair welcomed their second daughter, Adira River Ohanian.
